Hello!

I wonder if anyone tried neville haze?

people keep talking about trippy weed and visual effects in these african lines, and neville haze have such a trippy effect almost like lsd and u can go paranoid so easly and damnn your boddy feels like u can fly to moon with no limits, but i rly dont like the taste, and would be awesome to have similar effects with others types of tastes

Is the same effect as people get with this african landraces?anyone tried both?
If i recall right neville himself said neville haze was *the most trippy weed* he ever saw,but well that was long time ago..

Cya!

Acidx I am currently growing some NH to find out myself, the hazes I have tried were all very powerful, but not clear headed sought of Hazey trip. Saying that with the exception of Zamaldelica I have never got African seeds to get anywhere near the effect I experienced in Africa when I lived there.
I never had a narcotic type high in 10 years in Malawi, they were all super powered trippy and speedy and very hard to stay in control. They seem to loose the desired effects when grown in different soils, altitudes oe something I cant explain it.

Hi Maxi sounds good I hope you do a diary or at least post some pics. I am tied up at the moment I have a clone of the Zamaldelica I grew last year going, its the first time I have been able to really get high for so long.I would like to grow some more Malawi once I finish a couple more grows, including some Ace Panama crosses I was gifted.
I think anything crossed with Malawi from Ace is going to be strong, I would like to find a speedy Malawi instead of narcotic like I grew. Also I harvested to early so next lot I will let go longer, the GT and Zam I grew I let fully flower till all the leaves yellowed both are amazing.
So to be fare I will need to do the same with my remaining Malawi seeds.
I am sure yours will be a real pleasure to grow and watch, I cant wait. Best of luck.

Hi Tangwena:

Just thought I'd touch base. My best two malawi's are now showing basic signs of flowering with several white hairs on them but not a lot. They survived poor claylike soil, which hampered growth and they got chemically burned from to much neem oil but the bugs were so bad on the plants. I switched to cheyenne pepper and veggie oil plus dish soap. But another lesson, don't wipe your mouth with your hands while sweating and from there rub your eyes after you've handled the spray mix. That shit burns! Must scortch the bugs when they try to eat the leaf. Anyhow, no harm to the plants though. So flowering started late february and so am I to think it will continue to grow from an almost 4 foot tall plant to that of a six footer? That would be awesome. And you said cut down in may-june for south eastern australia right? So still quite a lot of growing to come. If I get some personal I'll be a happy man! Thanks guys.

Hi Boobman they should keep growing alright quite possibly to 6 foot but the amazing thing to come will be the huge colas, the branches are usually one long cola so you will get some huge heads to play with, and with flowering, the plant will tell you when she's ready.
Just be patient and all will come good I am sure.

Thanks for the guidance! Right now the best one is at four feet tall followed closely by the other at 3.5 feet. I can see white hairs now and it is branching. Those branches are pointing upwards towards the sky. I noticed the white pistils started showing in the last week of Feb so now I know for next year when I can expect flowering to occur and I won't make the same mistakes that I made this year. So you're estimating another 2 months til she is ready to cut down eh? I can't wait to try her out when she's ready to let me try her out! Thanks Tangwena. Have a good day!

Hi Boobman I reckon more like 3 months or more, now is the time to feed some flowering ferts like rose food to start the flowering off, some would say no but i reckon a feed now will do wonders as she starts to flower these plants produce a lot of flowers if you let them.
I dont know how much is left in the soil.
Just do it once and that should be enough. They will explode.

I'm using a raised bed made from store bought premium grade potting mix which I bought in Australia from bunnings. I am so scared of burning my plants as I already did it with that neem oil. Leaves showed me a ugly yellow black coloration with green on the leaves and many lower leaves died off, but the plants lived on and are showing good green growth. 3 more months of flowering? These plants should do really well then if they still have that much time! What's the name brand that I should buy of the rose food? Does it matter what brand of rose food I use? Thank you Tangwena. Sending energy your way!

Hi Boobman I only say rose food because its usually for flowering and they like slightly acidic food just like canna, just follow the directions on the box for roses. If you ask at the local nursery for organic ferts if you prefer just say its for flowering roses.
I like to feed the Malawi quite a strong dose, and once they start flowering strongly, you can back off the ferts and she will finish nicely for you. How about a few glamor shots so we can watch her bloom. Its always the best time, that and watching them finish, ha ha.

organicly grown plants.

organicly grown plants.

Hi Tangwena and those following his thread.

That is what my malawis looks like after 36 days (including germination time)
I have two different genotype, malawi 1 and 3 are identical and the most leaning sativa plant is malawi 2
Plants size range from 40 to 55 cm. they are all extremly vigorous and are still in veg (I know I should have switched al ready but I like to watch them get some strengh)

These are, from left to right, a very heavy yielder of super skunk and a unsexed herijuana wich I hope to be a male.

And these are Holy Grail Kush feminised plants.

Everyone of them say hello.:)

To be continued.........

Thx for the comment Tangwena and yes we ll have exciting times ahead,,, if the heri is a male it would be even more interesting since I could actually make a cross with a female malawi and the SSkunk.
If not I believe I ll be lucky enough to have a male from the malawis and I could at least cross the fem heri with.
And if none of this happens (I mean no male) I ll be happy having all females around.
In all cases it's a win-win deal for me.

Some GT from the plant I grew over Christmas, cured and beautiful.
I haven't got a good close up but its cured dry and still sticky.
It looks just like a good African sativa should look, and smell and sends me on trips of fantasy when de carbed and chewed.
My friends cant get enough they are turning into glutons.
Cant wait for the next grow. This is good gear. Well done Ace.

Pics of the same head on the plant and 3 months sweat cured in ball of vacuum sealed heads. African style.

thx for the comments guies.
It ll hopefuly looks good in 11 weeks, or more......

I m a little concerned about the stretch though, the plants are getting wider taller stronger by the minute,,, for that reason I could no longer keep the herijuana and malawi male I had in the room. It's a shame cause they both were good looking.

(to give u an idea in terms of size development,, the little herijuana male (4l pot) is one week older than the malawi dude (30l pot) in the other pic. So if you think of growing malawi make some room.)

I sure wasn't expecting such development from the girls. But hey,,! good thing is,, they look sexy and healthy and that is my main concern.
Will try to take better pictures in a bit because what I see from previous post doesn't show how they really are.:watchplant:
