Cool this is the thread I been looking for with all u pro photo guys. I started reading the beginning of this thread and the op suggested a camera, but that is 7 years old. Will some of u fellows drop some camera knowledge on me. Im looking buy one for over all flower pics, but am interested in this macro world as well.
thanks,
meds
id like to stay in the hundreds range not thousands of dollars. lol
i'm just gonna get a used DSLR or old model. i'm looking for at least 12 megapixels+, a wide lens, good focal range of less than an inch, can upgrade lenses, and it would be nice if it has a option to record slow motion. I like the nikons, some fuji, and some olympus, my friend has a canon handheld i know can do slow mo. price range under $200. maybe an old nikon d60 even though it's only 10.4MP i've used one before and it takes good shots.
Great thread!... Lots of wonderful shots and tons of info
Good job y'all!
I shot macro with Nikon for 8years before I switched to canon earlier in the year.. I miss my D800e , but I do love that Mpe-65 lens from canon.. Definitely was a trade off when I switched over..
Here's a few shots with my Canon 6d and Mpe-65mm..
Lol.... Yeah Bob, I pretty much had to downgrade the camera body to get all the accessories I needed.. It was also a compromise for the wife (so I didn't spend anymore money, I just basically traded camera systems)..
I am saving up for a new camera body when the new canons are released...
Hopefully someday I could have nikon and canon... What??.. I can dream can't I? Hahaha
@Mikell, this particular purple trich stem is mostly genetics since it shows up no matter what the conditions are.. Although, some strains are definitely înfluenced by other factors such as cold temps.
yeah. i watched a fly lay eggs on a sticky trap once. it was gross and fascinating all at once. they grew from egg to larval stage in like 3 minutes. it was just shitting em out it's ass/egg sac one at a time in an overlapping pattern like those eggs on the leaf. right in spot where it was stuck to the trap. i shudder at the thought. if a fly lands on your food...just throw that shit away.
also that's not from a spider. spiders put their eggs in a little silk sac. maybe a moth or something.
