Hello.
This is M39 grown with General Hydroponics' 3-part nutrient system.

My grow bulbs are a little old and need replacing, but they did quite well despite.

These are being flushed and will be harvested in about a week.

The weight has been packing on these past couple weeks, and what a spectacle to behold!

The next round of M39 just went to flower and are in 3 gallon pots, as opposed to this round which is in 2 gallon pots. This clone will do MUCH bigger things in 3 gallon than in 2.

I thought I'd post this up for archive's sake.

No, this one has nothing whatever to do with the Sour Diesel projects. This one is in several Reservoir crosses though, like Gonzo#1, which I find to be excellent to grow and smoke.

Heya Cannigrow. You don't see many grow because the clone is kept proprietary in a BIG way. I'm not into the whole proprietary clone thing, but I can see why this one might be kept uncirculated. It's not the heaviest hitting high, not the densest buds, not the most incredible smelling pot, but in the yield department it's hard to find a clone-only that yields any better than this one. She's also a snap to clone, quick to veg, and as you can see, stays pretty squat and bushy in flower. A producer's dream.

The taste is quite nice, it's no Apollo 11, but the taste is not unremarkable at all. It tastes a little like blueberries in flower, and the dry taste is a toned down version of the living smell. You can smell the sweetness of the skunk, and the Northern Lights smooths it out and adds a little something extra to the taste.

My wife favors the smell of this plant over any other I've grown so far. I'm not really with her on that one, but I can see why she likes it. Very nice stuff, very heavy yields, very easy to grow.

i see many double sour diesel seeds te produce similar growth development to your fine pictjah.

sup CC this plant looks similar in branch pattern and node profile to cheese that is i guess just the old school skunk#1 coming out i suppose the leaves look way more indica i guess thats the NL#5 coming out how is her density at the end?

You can get Shiva-skunk from Sensi Seeds,it's basicly the same thing NL#5 X Skunk#1.I found 2 different pheno's,one is ho hum skunk #1 tastin and the other a sour grape flavor.One of these was so strong smellin it would almost make yer eyes water and finished in 40 days flat! I'm tellin ya folks Shiva Skunk is the sleeper strain of all time,do yer self a favor and try it....Purdy pics CC. Take care...BC

Yeah, I agree with BC. I was recently doing research for a HT article on M39 and found out that the Shiva Skunk is about the closest thing to the original M39 breeding. I'd love to run 40-50 of those and select a single mom.

DB, not very dense at all, fluffy, but it somehow equals extreme heaviness anyhow.

Happy harvest dude i just finish min shiva skunk aka-m39 and its in drying process for 2wks soon to be Jarred and cure the Small and taste like you described and the high is ok noting spacial i am still looking for that ultimate medical one,

They are EXTREMELY similar all around. The only differences are very slight....the Dabney is a little sweeter/blueberryish, and might be a little more potent....and the M39's fan leaves are a little wider/fatter than Dabney's.

That M39 and Dabney Blue are so much alike that they are kissin cousins. Jimmy's right they smell the same and the taste is a little fruiter in the Dabney but damn their the same genetics.

Hey guys.

Hey hey Jimmy Jimmy.

I'm hoping the Dabney turns out different, at least a little more Bluberry in the taste. Although, when you think of it as smelling it, M39 can smell an awful lot like what one might call Blueberry. Only difference I have found so is is during veg, when the Dabney cut I have has greener stems than the M39s at the same age, and both are getting the exact same treatment, food, medium, light, etc. This isn't positive proof they're different from eachother, but it IS a sign they might be. As you say, time will tell. I'll know in about 2 months, when M39 and Dabney will be flowered together.

I too hope that the dabney is much different than M39...... I thought dabney was that legendary blueberry, the ultra tasty oldschool blueberry that is so hard to find. Does the dabney leave the berry syrup taste in your mouth, or do the buds just have a smell of blueberry?

I was hoping the Dabney would take the place of my late 90's DJ Short Blueberry out of the water... now it looks like the dabney is a commercial cut?
