Fuck THSeeds putting a trademark on another strain I spread! They did it with my Darkstar, and I bred that! No one off the east coast even heard of MOB until I took her off it. And she is definitely not commercial! If grown properly she rivals anything, confirmed by many IC family, and tested at the MI cup 2014, not entered, but you couldn't even taste GG4 after puffing some MOB. And i was smoking the samples of GG4 that won, straight from the LD's hands, everyone at Mota Rebels booth that got to puff it agreed. She doesn't test staggeringly high, topped out around 19%, but the taste, smell, and yield are outstanding. True aromatherapy. Beautiful fruity top end, with an equally pleasing afghani/indian/floral bottom.
Edit: Some of my Strawberry Daze X MOB has made its way to the west coast and is making a big stink, we will see if it happens again.

I love MOB, top marks all the way through. It's true that she can be slow to vege indoors, but that can be fixed by dialing her in. She seems to love LED light and performs just dandy in a 2x2 tent. These are all the highrise F2s.

Those highrise mobs look great. Do the green ones have the same berry smell? Selfed mob is a great idea as the clone is a real a pain to veg out doors without it going to flower quickly and once they turn its hard to get them back to veg. Ive had them do well put out early june as freshly rooted cuts.
Im running 2 different mobs this season. big leaf cherry aka money over bitches and the blueberry pheno. the calyxes they're throwing in veg smell very very similar hard to tell tell the difference atm, though I've been told they are not the same. the cherry is the the one Ive grown in the past and what I know to originally be circulated. curious to see this other pheno.

My green phenos in the Highrise S2's were very similar, slightly more blueberry candy as I recall.
I've never liked the name money over bitches, MOB is just Maine's own blueberry to me.
The highrise seeds are selfed F2.... S2? Anyway, the purple comes screaming out of the background genetics and smells just like a blueberry pie cooking. It still has the funky musty taste though. The cherry pheno is still present in some of the seeds, there's lots of minute variation.
I've never run the original cut, but it sounds like more of a pain in the ass than these seeds. I haven't had any difficulties indoors besides the occasional late nanner, but they never throw any viable pollen.
I think a lot of people have the wrong idea about keeping a MOB mother. 24/7 light in vege gurantees problems with flowering. I keep them on a schedule of 17/7, sometimes 16/8. That's enough daylight to keep them in vege, but not so much that they force flower when set out. Matching daylight hours has given me the best results. Sensitive cuts need less light, not more
Money over bitches is only what dipshits call MOB. Its Mother of berry, and always has been. The original cut is a breeze to grow. Have been for about a decade now. She can show quite a difference in variation just by being grown by different people, and very different outdoors than in. The floral notes, and DEEP purple color come out way more outdoors. I've seen the exact same MOB cut grown by many different people, and it almost always has some variation from one person to the next. The only issue I have with seed companies working with this and other clone only elites is that they try or succeed in trademarking the name at least. And many times tarnish the name with sub par breeding results.

I agree money over bitches is a terrible moniker. What I have by this name is the same as the original MOB that we got in 08. It will be interesting to see if this other cut is the same or different. Atm it smells more or less the same. Ive heard there's 4 phenos going around.
Highrise ran on reputation, not legal leanings. It's a real bummer the owner called it quits, that company was fantastic. Krk was always upfront about where his genetics came from.
My problem was more with THSeeds. I have tried Highrise's version, it was nice, but not quite the same as the clone only, obviously. And a lot of them were taking another quarter of the time to finish. MOb should never take over nine weeks max.
She crosses well, and passes on the good flavor and trichs. What is thseeds mob anyway? A cross or selfed?
They don't say, but if i had to hazard a guess I'd say they caught wind of the highrise seeds. The crosses I've seen from highrise seem to be fantastic and have good reviews. I was testing for them for a minute and have a good store of seeds, I will be recreating the MOB x Fire99 auto.
