hey rebo, I posted a couple time in your thread i may as well continue...
Looking great man, i went to my plot (outdoor) yesterday for the first time in 4 weeks, something broke in my wire fence and killed half my plants.
But the remaining ones looks like yours... i had a mix of per/verm/peat/ with manures and slow release spikes... they smell alot like buds even tho there arent any yet, but i am seeing females. and possible male. i hope they make it. since im not garanteed a succesful grow at this point, i will only take pics on harvest (probably next time i go). so seeya then, stay safe rebo.

Ok socbutter, and MileHighGuy, this one's for you bros..
About day 35..
Plants look good. Turns out they're all female and one runt yet to be determined. There are a couple of tall ones (about 20" to 22") and a few normal sized (13" to 16"). the runt grew two main trunks like it was hst'd, and finally the leaves are starting to look almost normal, all the while, still looking wierd overall, lol..

Sneak brother, losing half your plants sux ass man, I'm sorry to hear that bro. I hope the rest pull through for you, and hell ya man, post here anytime you want, I appreciate your input here. You stay safe as well..

Ok here's a couple of pics from tonight. A flower, the runt, and the group.

Very nice

my LR are starting to take off. Just wondering what size pots are you using?

What size pots will they flower in?

Hey cyber_echo, thanks man.. no ferts at all yet. I've got big bloom, and tiger bloom .. I'll probably start big bloom next watering, depending on how they look.

Hey socbutter, sup bro.. They're in 1 gallon black nursery pots from HD. Hopefully they will be finishing in those same pots. I'm hoping to get between a quarter, to a half pound out of them.

peace

day 37 ..

I fed the plants some fox farms big bloom this morning. 1/2 cup per gallon. I don't expect to need to feed them next watering, but we'll see.. Right now the watering schedule is working out to be about every 4 days.

Here's a couple of pics from tonight..

Just curious

Just curious

Boy, have they grown!

My sprouted June 21 a week after yours. What a differences a week makes.

My tall Lowryder#2
(Long Legs) is showing her tits and she's only 10.5 inches tall. She's grown
an inch a day. She's touching the CoolTube again!

My second LowRyder#2 is half Long Legs height and bushier

The last two plants are BlueRyders two weeks old and look like bonsai. I thought it was a joke.:moon: I will
give them 30 days before I decide what to do with them.

Now looking at your grow. What height consistency!

Did you really have to feed?

Were they showing signs of needing to be fed?

Did your soil mix not provide sufficient food through harvest?

I am curious because I am using the same soil mix you are using in your grow.:yeahthats

Rebo,
Think its time for a bigger lamp ? Either that or add some CFLs to increase the ambient light in there.
The exposure on the colas seem good, but I think u can add some more ambient light to get some more prolific budding along the stems.
Cheers

ps: In anycase, i think ur plants are doing good bud-wise considering the pics were taken at day 37. You still have quite a bit of time.

Hey bro, I felt I had to start giving them nutes.. I noticed a little yellowing here and there so I wanted to catch it before it got too far..

I am only growing these in 1 gallon pots, and since there are only so many nutes available in that amount of soil, I figured I had better feed them. If I were to repot them into 2 gallon pots, I wouldn't have had to feed them, for sure, and if I had potted them into 2 gallon pots from the beginning I probably wouldn't have had to feed them yet either, but I am out of room in that cabinet, and I didn't originally expect all 8 to survive, much less all of them turn out to be female.. Now as long as they don't hermie (knock on wood) wtf did I just say hermie.. damn (no jinx.. good karma..good karma..) so now I want to try to maximize the buddage I get, with my limited light and pot size. So using big bloom I think was the right thing to do. I will probably hit it with tiger bloom after a while too..

Hey rebo,
Sometimes ppl can be fooled and think they have a nutrition problem whereas it may be a pH problem causing nute lockout. This happened to me with an earlier grow. Fortunately, I have a digital pH meter now and I measure the pH of the runoff water always.
You may already know this information, just giving you a heads up. Would hate to see ur grow go bad.
Cheers

Hey cyber_echo, thanks bro.. My water is from a well and it ph's out just barely at 7. When I added these nutes it ph'd out at about 6.5 .. The plants look so much better.. perkier and greener since feeding, and the flowers are starting to fill in a bit.. I test ph with the liquid drops.. (not perfect but I think close enough) I agree I should test the runoff, which I haven't done yet. Thanks !

cyber_echo, Ok here's the PH test using runoff.. I watered today, no nutes given this time. I will feed them with the next watering, and do the PH test again at that time as well. This PH test looks to me to be between 6.5 and 7, which I think is right where it should be. Please correct me if I'm wrong, or if you have any other suggestions, I appreciate the help brother, I can always use a second set of 'eyes' if ya know what I mean.. peace.

Well shoot.. I think I may have overdone the nutes.. I'm seeing lots of yellowing, and a couple of plants have a couple of crackly leaves, but a few other plants don't look too bad..
I'm thinking I might flush them real good, and see what happens.. at least flush the ones that have the crackly leaves.. Anyone out there have any other ideas? The plants have a ways to go and I'm scratching my head on his one..

Here's a couple of pics..

I flushed the plant that was getting the brown crackly spots. I'm starting to think my PH may be too high. I think I'll try lowering it with some lime juice or vinegar or something and see what happens. I'm going to try to hit 6.5 ph and see what happens over the next couple of days. I'm hoping I can get them to go a little greener.. I'm reading lots of search results about yellowing leaves on LR2 plants, and I've found a few that are saying it's in LR2's genetics.. I don'r know if I believe that.. I've grown LR2 before (that's where I got these seeds) and the plants did fine, same soil and same nutes.. trippin'

I transplanted 3 of them tonight. I broke the rootball up a bit and re-potted them in fresh soil (same mix) back into 1 gallon pots again, and I watered all the plants with ph 6.5 water. I am hoping that doing this, the plants will come back quicker than if I only adjusted the water's PH, and with these only having about a month left to go, the quicker they 'heal' the better. I only did 3, to compare them against the ones I haven't done... Now I will keep my hands off of them all for the next couple of days

Greets dude,
Take it easy with the nutes, flushing, and pH adjustments.
Anything you try to do, do it gradually.
Don't try to fix problems in one go, or else ur plant goes into shock.
The pH did seem a bit high from the shown test, but u prolly only need to decrease it by 0.5 or so.

Also imho, never break the rootball. That just shocks the roots like crazy and breaks up the hairs.

Hey cyber_echo, wow what a trip.. I've been breaking the rootballs up and repotting for years.. just not on an autoflower.. and I hear ya on trying to do too much in too short a period of time.. I know my ph was too high now too, and I think I've got that dialed in.. hopefully.. how's a solid 6.5 ph sound? .. I just peeked in on the plants and they are actually looking better. and I only re-potted the 3 worst ones and left all the rest as-is so I can see how things are affected. I'll get some pics in a couple of days..
Thanks a lot brother.. you are a good person to know..

Ok,
Things are looking better. The plants I re-potted are doing fine and the other plants are doing fine as well. The new growth on all fronts is green and the plants are looking much better. The plants did have a nute lockout from too high a PH. Since adjusting the ph to 6.5 things are looking much better. The trippy part is that the plants really got wierd right after I used nutes for the first time this grow, so that fact made me think I over nuted or something, hence the flushing and re-potting. After all was said and done, I most likely didn't need to add nutes in the first place. doh!

I will try to get a picture or two posted later tonight.
