Sammet,M@rg:Thanks fer the compliments..the catpiss-stank is starting to fade a bit, when Vaped BB#1 has a spicy taste almost like a haze but not quite, there's also some hints of sweetness and other spices (ginger?) in the taste..you'll taste the spicyness mostly on inhale and the sweetness mostly on the exhale

Smoke report GHS Big Bang femmed
I had two beautifull ladies..
Both of them were grown 12/12 from seed, grown in soil for 16 weeks total: 14 minus the two week seedling stage.Another 5 weeks growing time in total Followed by 8,5 to 9 weeks flowering time...Both were grown and flowered under 250 watt HPS
I had two different pheno's, one I called the Sweet Apple pheno and one I called the Catpiss pheno..
Big Bang #1, the Catpiss Pheno Yielded better, don't own a scale but i've got comparison pictures of both harvests the jar on the left is bigger in capacity and was filled with properly dried buds..
This report is based on my experiences with what I called the Sweet Apple pheno..
Here's the breeders description:
Big Bang (Greenhouse) feminised
Awards: 3rd prize HTCC 2000.
Genetics: Skunk, Northern Light, El Niño.
Effect: Relaxing and calming. Well known for its medicinal properties; it is sold in the Dutch pharmacies as prescription medicine.
Flowering indoor: 9 weeks will guarantee the full range of cannabinoids. Commercially ready in 8 weeks, with a yield of up to 800 grams per square meter. Very good on SOG and ScrOG
Flowering outdoor: Ready at the beginning of October in the Northern hemisphere, with a yield of up to 1000 grams per plant.
THC: 15.5%
CBD: 1.5%
CBN: 0.4%

(unfortunately I didn't take any pix)
Amount used: 2 smaller nugs and one medium sized one, crumbled it all with my fingertips..
Smoking tools used: Smoking Gold Kingsize Slim+cardboard roach
Weeks cured: 5 to 6 weeks
Smell: when ya open up the jar there's a very nice fruity sweet smell coming out, when broken up the sweetness intensifies
Taste: Sweet Apple both on inhale as well as exhale
Nice!!
There was also a freezing/icy sensation on the inhale
Lung expansion: was light to moderate
Time till effects kicked in: 3-5 minutes, although I have to be honest I'd just been tokin' after a month long break so the effects might be lil more subtle for a daily toker..
Amount needed: 4 or 5 hits off my thinly rolled (pure) joint and I was done!!
Dominance: i'd say that this one is nicely balanced but with a bit more sativa innit since it most defo set my mind racing
I started @ 16.25
The first thing I noticed was a warm rushing sensation starting at my feet and rolling up my lower body in waves. The same effects happened upon my upper body except there it all came rolling in from the top..felt like i literally sunk into my couch feeling relaxed, no worries..tingling feeling in my lower arms..Almost simultaneously my creativity got triggered and I wrote an enormously lenghty report which i'll spare ya the boring details of
I was watching TV when i smoked my half joint but couldn't focus on the TV anymore, not until I was done writing this report sorta and then I had to consciously pull myself away from the writing and settle in for the TV..
This happened in a good 45 mins.from the start.After those 45 minutes the munchies set in as well. After another 35 mins the deepest part of the high/stone had passed.
I had a lovely dinner and set about doing the dishes, which I normally hate doing. So i'd say this is also good weed for doing stuff you'd been putting off for awhile. @ 19.00..
I'd settled into a pleasant buzz which lasted another 2 hours approx and by then I was gently floating back into the "ordinary" world again.
I've smoked the rest of the joint later that evening and had another 3 pleasantly buzzed hours.
Conclusion
I'd say the taste was remarkably fruity and so were the lingering smells, only when ya took a bit of a deeper breath to really smell you'd detect the skunk comin through.
Well that's it for this report, all in all I would grow these beans again because I really liked the smoke, beginning smokers be advised: the stone can get quiet intense so I wouldn't recommend smokin this one solo, better to have some experienced tokers around to keep ya level headed incase paranoia/fear sets in..

This is the report on the Catpis pheno
Amount used: 3 small nugs, crumbled with fingertips
Tools: Smoking Gold Kingsize Slom +cardboard roach
Weeks cured: 5 to 6 weeks
Smell: when ya open up the jars there's still a catpiss odour..since i don't know what an actual real life skunk *the animal that is* smells like I always associate this smell with catpiss..When ya start breaking up the nugs a sweet fruity berry-ish smell comes forth as well as something I associate with cleaning-products but not astringent..more a hint of it at the back ground which might make ya wanna take a closer sniff just so ya can place that 'smell'
Taste: fruity but skunky
Lung expansion: light to none.
Time till effects kicked in: I'd say a good 10 mins
Dominance: I'd say it's an even mix between the indica and sativa effects although this particular pheno gave me more of a relaxed contemplative high as well as a seriously relaxing body stone
Amount needed:this one was a bit more of a creeper, after about 5 or 6 hits y'r starting to feel it..
Effects: the first thing you'll notice is the waves of warm relaxation rolling in, next you'll notice y'r firmly planted right where ya are and you'll not be moving too much the coming hour (s)..this one also makes it hard to focus on more then one thing at the time..more so then the other pheno where my thoughts were still wandering..this one keeps em all in place and y'r most defo parked in front of the TV..i'd say this one works best for listening to some good music/ watching TV all those activities that do not enquire too much movement from your part..
This one also works nicely for any pains ya might have for awhile.. 3hrs or more
All in all i've had a pleasantly buzzed/warm/mildly sleepy 3 to 5,5 hours off half a (pure) thinly rolled joint. I think i'm right in saying that if ya wanna sleep just smoke a bit more and y'r off to a warm and relaxed stay in LaLa land

the apple pheno sounds wonderful mate...
on the subject of disirable oudours... I have this cheeseberry haze in flower right now (blue cheese/SSH*G13) and it has one of the "funniest" smells I've ever encountered from a bud. My best description of it would be... Lemon, Gasoline and Vomit!
It smells really disgusting like some bad air freshener product from the 70's.. I Can't WAIT to try it :wink:
