Hey everyone

I've harvested today
Here's some shots
Safmix and Hashberry, hangin to dry, Safmix front HB back

Safmix harvest, both from the top and from the side

Surprisingly, she didn't smell much at all while I was handling her compared to last week when she got chopped and hung..she also wasn't as sticky compared to the HB I'm thinking I might've underfed this one slightly....oh well got plenty more beans so there's always Take Two

Hashberry harvest, i've only got a top-shot here musta forgot to take a side-shot

This one did smell just as nicely as last week when I chopped and hung..Was nicely sticky although she yielded less then the Safmix..I'm thinking I should've left this HB untouched and gone 'au-natural' maybe when I read somewhere the HB likes to be topped I accidentally was reading about another plant? Ah well...there's always next time..

The Ice's are on the left, the Big Bang's on the right..all are showing hairs although the Big Bang's pistils are tiny compared to the Ice's
I'm still kinda baffled that 3 year old seeds give me 2 out of 3 femmes!! when they weren't even femmed beans!..And the Ice hermy originally started out as a femme too! Can it be that the older regular seeds get (within reason of course) the chances of getting femmes from them could increase?? Or is that just non-sense..
Nevermind..

Da man Core has very generously sent me a package and I would very much like to start up just any of those fab beanz but at the mo i'm lacking space/utilities/funds so these will be run later on in the new year.

This current batch I'll prolly flower for 10 to 12 weeks?? I've checked up on the Ice description..it said 8-10 weeks..the funny thing at that particular site was that they mentioned the effects as sativa?? I thought Ice was supposed to be a one-hitter quitter indica type stone/plant..Assuming she's been grown properly
The Big Bang's needed somewhere in that same time-range also..I'll be taking this grow over into the new year and by Newyear's eve I should have some properly cured HB and Safmix buds

@ Dr Dog: yeah the stretch is not completely cured yet but they have the tent all to themselves now and the light has been hung at an according height Ive also repotted them into 2ltr pots each and a fresh new soilmix...I'll be feeding them 5ml doses of grow/bloom and boost per 2ltr of feeding water as of today..And since my space is so small..i'm thinking of rigging some kinda screen which can be lowered/heightened accordingly..just need to scrounge up some stuff to make that with..prolly lotsa..twine

@M@rg: Thanx mate! :wink: and now that they've dried a good 10 days they're jarred and will be burped for a coupla more days..I'll be trying once again, to be patient and give my herbs a bit of a decent cure..so providing I can hold out 4 weeks atleast..you'll have to wait awhile for that taste report mate The small test nuggiez that I vaped the other week didn't have much of a taste other then 'fresh green' and because they hadn't dried properly..they didn't vape too good either..got nicely baked though..just nothing memorable in the taste-department just yet...
what's that saying? "all good things come to those who wait" well lessee how patient I can bee and Then I'll be able to give ya's a proper taste report..I could go and vape just a tiny few popcorn nuggiez..but there weren't that many with the Safmix and I'm already high on some backcrossed NL I bought a few days back.. If I'm gonna do a proper taste-report I'm gonna have to be relatively not stoned/high on something else already riiight

I'm fine, my weekend is going excellent
I've been taste-testing the Safmix and well..it's a bit strange..inna joint I don't get much taste yet either on the inhale or the exhale..inna pipe there isn't much taste either, the only taste i did get was in the vape!! on the exhale it tasted kinda like strawberries???? which I really do not get because while flowerin she smelled like candy-lemon ?!?!?
perhaps the taste in the safmix needs to develop a bit more and after a half-decent cure it'll taste bettter?
I'd love to put some more beans out but my grow isn't located @ my own place and the peeps who very generously host my grow said they didn't want any more then 4 plants....(the reason they're hostin' is cos they didn't want me to get kicked out if/when my grow would be discovered, when ya live in rented digs the housing company can kick ya out the minute y'r grow is discovered so that's why..)
I was thinking of getting a lotteryticket, win a substantial amount of money and invest all of that money in my grow ie: another tent, light, filter so that I have two different growspaces one for growing/cloning/mum-tent and one for flowerin..
But my chances of winning anything substantial are pretty slim so..best save up cinch that belt a bit thighter and hope for better financial times in the new year.
As far as still buying (low quality) eh, I need to be a bit patient if I want my weed to cure a bit..It is so hard staying out of those jars when i'm completely out so that's why, for now, i'll be buying but i'm hopin' to become selfsustaining within the next 6 months

As soon as I open the Hashberry jar there's a really pleasant berries&cream aroma..the safmix doesn't smell yet not even after shaking the jar and then openin it . I guess I need to be a bit more patient Thanx for visitin'

I saw the big bang on the site and just wondered how it would be to grow out. I've been looking for a big bud alternative for a future outdoor grow. I'll just keep an eye on yours and see how they fair. I still have mandala on my list to try in the next year or so, keep it green bro.... that safari will probably get some smell after a cure.

The leaves have been yellow from a previous lack of food I think..the new growth pops up nice and green so I'm not too worried yet

This one might look a bit droopy but that's possibly because the light had just switched off a few minutes prior to me getting the ladies out for a photoshoot

This is the one i might be getting worried about if it doesn't clear up inna couple days the newest growth is curling up but when I touch those leaves they aren't brittle or dry..they feel just like the other leaves so i'm thinking it's gonna clear up by itself....If not I'll ask around right?:smile:

I don't mind ya tagging along to follow the Big Bangs..I do need to say that My grow might not be doing thoses Big Bangs justice..i've started them from 12/12..they won't be getting to much time or space to grow out into formidable plants and they won't yield as much because of this...Just so you know..If mine don't turn out too good it might just all be grower error..know what i'm saying? (dammit i'm almost confusing myself here )Anyway, thanx for the interest man, I do hope ya find a good Big Bud replacement for outdoors

Both the Big Bangs are starting to stink real nice I've been reading a lot of mixed reviews on GHS..so far I have to say-->These GHS beans are not bad..so far they've survived all the abuse I (accidentally) threw at them so they get a from me

Bro you ice is suffering from sour soil bro.

If you pull that out of your pot you will see it is probably still in the same shape as the last pot. You can try repotting it again, but at that stage in flower it is probably not gonna do much

That happens if you dont give your plants a chance to grow out some roots after being transplanted before flippin the lights

and do you let'm dry out between waterings?...and that ICE....don't feed it mate....just don't....

I keep telling the peeps that take care of my plantz daily, to watch what they're doin but apparently I'm not too good at that..:
I'll be movin the entire grow back to mine then...at least that way I can get daily looks and respond immediately when I see something not right..

Well it all goes back to killing them with love

I like to say, you have a little to do and 8 weeks to do it in, so there is no rush.

Basically just a few small problems that have gotten out of hand. Core is right, I did not even notice the Moss. Def overwatering them. Got my fingers crossed for ya

Told my caretakers to keep a watchfull eye once again..Gonna chuck the Ice..that's not gonna be doin much like you said....and I'm gonna be less enthusiastic with loving em to death i'm still a newb after all!
