Lowryder #2 Flowering

I was stating the fact that autoflowering strains are recommended to be done at 20/4 photoperiods. He should do whatever he plans on doing with his seeds. If he wants to do 12/12 from seed then fine. But since his concern was how his plant looked I suggested that next time he tries an autoflowering strain he should do it the 20/4 all the way through its life cycle for better results. If he is doing this because he enjoys the experience then 12/12 might not be to bad at all even if he lets it go longer than expected. But if he wanted to maximize the potential of it I am suggesting he try the 20/4 photoperiod. Since he is already doing it this way he should stick to what he feels like doing. But next time he can try it differently and compare the results.

Hey G-Ice if you got the option of letting it go longer i would... your yield should be a little higher especially if your gonna make hash out of it.... ALSO all you guys talking about getting lowryders have you ever tried a couple sites called SEEDBAY or SEEDBOUTIQUE haha... theyre ran by the same people who run the boards we're talking on now... you can get AFs off either site but i like using SBay cause i get alot of great steals by going the auction route...since feb. ive ordered over 30 times from these two sites without a single mishap.... ive got LR #1s for as little as 17 dollars for a ten pack... got LR#2s and LR#2s F2s that i got for 20 a pack... just got bluestreak for 30.... got romulandiesel lowryder for 40 and whiterhyno low for about the same...and thats just the AF selection they also have some of the best connoisseur genetics available period
anyway good luck with your little girl and definitely dont give up on the autoflowers although maybe you can give up on Attitude seeds haha

Thanks for the replies. Higher Power, thank you for the suggestion. However, this is an outdoor grow so the conditions cannot be controlled.

Ribsauce, cheers for the sites. I've heard of Seedbay but this is the first experience I've heard. Sounds good. My only concern would be that I like paying with cash. Is this an option with this site?

Jay-Toker, smoke report to come for sure dude. I've smoke one plant already. Was dried with the quick methods so the smoke could have been smoother. Could still taste the sweetness though. The trichomes were white and the high was quite nice. I wouldn't be able to compare it to any other strains I've tried before though. I'm going to give a more detailed report of the next plant, which will hopefully be dried properly for smoother smoke.

7 weeks flowering for the one thats left. It is seeded so I'm wondering how long before the seeds will begin to fall from the plant?

Here's a smoke report for the Lowryder #2

Appearance: This bud has dark green hues with a vivid trichome coating. Few pistils are visible without close inspection.

Aroma: The buds have a distinct sweet smell with medium odour. Definitely nice.

Taste: There's a light sweet, fruity taste. Not much of an aftertaste though.

High: There is an indica, lazy high. However there is a bit of an "up" from the Santa Maria genetics, which is sativa dominant. It's difficult to compare to non-ruderalis strains. I have experienced mild CEV's and vivid dreams.

Wait.....Inside now?
I was under the impression all the "Auto Hype"
was so anyone could ...."Just put out the seeds"?
and grow their own weed?
Now U R saying try them inside?
Why?
Why not grow Something potent 12/12 from seed?

Yeah just like many non-af strains certain autoflowering types are not well suited for the outdoor environment(mold, pest, etc.). The obvious benefit is having multiple harvest outdoors in much shorter window of time(60 days from seed). Many outdoor growers lose their crop due to the fact that its pretty damn hard to have a spot where for 5-6 months you hope that it survives weather, pest, animals, and other people. Not to mention the ridiculous heights that they can reach by June/July. Autos allow you to get great quality bud, quick harvest, short/discreet plants(1-3ft), and with a decent yield(1-2+ oz.(strain depending)). Also, it gives a great option for people who live in regions of the world with very short outdoor growing seasons. So quit being such a hater because you read a couple post five years ago that lowryder1 is weak and that autoflowers are garbage. Until you get any experience with the latest generations of autoflowers your input is irrelevant and unwanted.

Oh.. and by the way your lowryder#2 is looking pretty tasty G-ICE.

i think the 1-2 ounces claim is a little ridiculous, more like half ounce to a full ounce, and with alot of the autos more like 10 grams..

Depends on what strains you do... as I said strain depending but Easy Ryder, Auto ak, my BS F2's, etc.. all go over an ounce easyyy 1-3 oz per easy ryder. If your not getting well over an ounce on those strains your doing something horribly wrong.
