Stardawg, who does it best?

I'm in a telegram group of organic living soil growers here in the UK and the other day we got talking about our favourite strain to smoke.

I caught some flack for it but I said I really enjoy stardawg when it's done well.

That set me on a mini quest trying to find legit seeds for it. A clone would be even better but I believe only the Albanians seem to have the clone in the UK and I don't know any of them.

So does anyone know the best breeder available in the UK for stardawg seeds?

Yeah this quest for stardawg may be coming to fruit. Someone in our group on telegram has made contact with someone who holds the Corey haim cut of stardawg and they're selling a limited number.

Going back around 12 years, the original was from top dawg seeds iirc. Thats where i got mine, was a keeper for a few years but got bored of it in the end as you do. I'd think you'd be better off getting a clone, there are a tons of hybrids though, karma seeds does some for example.
I've grown alot of the different chem seed representations over the years and stardawg is a pretty similar hashy strain, big buds, heavy yield and fairly strong. Verdant green sells some chem lines (in the uk), very reasonable prices too.

There's one or two seedbanks I can think of that ships his stuff from the states.

They deliver to Ireland so don't see why not the UK..

I don't do Instagram which hindered my initial search, trusted seedbanks are out there...

Theres a fair few white label style seedbanks out there with fem versions if you're desperate. Blackskull, manchester, bsb, double seeds all do fems.

I've actually just made contact with someone on Reddit. They're going to sort me a clone or 2 in a month's time. They want to remain anonymous which I respect so they're just going to leave the clone/s in a location to collect.

Bit of a faff but it will be worth it.

Another member in our organic telegram group has made a deal with a well known member on another forum.

We got the Corey heime cut of stardawg and a couple of others. It's going to be a good summer.

We all share seeds and cuts on our group. I'm getting sent a pack of original ibl white widow seeds too.

i didn't keep the Stardawg clone for very long. Good yielder and potent... i can see why it stuck as the top commercial clone in UK.. but for me the high is boring and it often gives you a comedown headache.

I would say this... but i think my Contra D seedline is much much better with similar big yield potential but a much better high.. euphoric and trippy with heavy bodystone
Very close to Chem D but a bit more pine.
Also the 4th bx cause the stunted streaky genes from Chem D to segregate into a quarter of the plants and then i removed them from the line when i made F2s so these actually grow bigger and more vigorous than the Chem D clone

then i had it a million times and i am agreeing with the sentiment that there are better chemdog hybrids out there, depending on what part of the chem spectrum you hang out in.

the stardawg is chem4 x tres dawg if i remember right, so basically a chemD backcross hitting the chem4 clone.

Verdant Green's C4DD line contains both chem4 and chemD.

and unless you can find stardawg seeds i think the best bet for seeds might be VG's C4DD line... and i think he still also makes the C4DD4 which also has another dose of chem 4, so you really have all the spectrum of stardawg, and if the reports are right (i have yet to try it, i need to get my shit together haha)... should be probably as good as any other good chem seeds done by chem lovers.

if you can find it, chem de la chem is prolly my favorite chem smoke to date, i had some very very dank, very chemD leaning stuff that had me absolutely wrapped in a trippy chemmy blanket.

honorable mentions:

lucky dog seeds, run by skunkVA (of chem 91 skunkVA fame)... they do a chem 91 bx that they let bust upon many nice things, including the chem D (the cross is called dog patch, basically the reciprocal of tres dawg, if you like chem D it is up there with the best imo... one of my fave smokes ever)

humboldt csi, run by nspecta (another legendary figure in the chem scene), he does s1s and various crosses of the chem gear he has (and i mean chem x name your favorite elite cut kinda thing), i have seen tons and tons of nothing but good things, may be a few years b4 i get to try any of his gear
