How come sour d terps don't smell like sour d? (Or any other strain,?)
Seems strange to me,
What am I missing?
The important parts?

Interesting. The Tangie must be very unique then.@Douglas.Curtis I think you are missing my point a little bit about personal preference. I was in no way saying there was anything wrong with his Tangie. He loved it and he'd gotten good feedback from some people. He's been growing for 20 years (on a fairly small scale) and knows how to grow.
Myself, and I would venture to guess the OP, like a more old-school smell and taste. When I open the grinder, I don't really want to smell perfume, or artificial fruit as more than a hint of the spectrum.
I find a lot of modern hybrids seem to be specifically bred for a unique smell and taste, rather than necessarily a good smell and taste. Enough people seem to enjoy that to make it viable, but it just isn't my personal preference.
Someone gifted me a candle once - berry cheesecake. Smelled very chemical and make me feel sick to my stomach.
Couple years ago I got a bag of 'herb' smelled just like that.
Burned and tasted like shit.
No fucking way that's natural.
I swear I've seen 100x more vile, suspect weed in the past few years than in the past 20 before that.
Are there Any terps on the market that are actually cannabis derived?
Actually from that strain?
For instance, I saw some GG#4 terps,
They had a faint lemon smell...
If you know the Gorilla,
It is not lemon in any way.
Take that Sour D terps just posted,
I highly doubt it is made from even cannabis.
People are mixing things trying to match terp profiles.
The whole thing is a con.
When some real deal Cannabis terps
Hit the scene, let me no.
I just want people to know what they are actually getting.
I went to see So7oman last week. He's got so called cannabis Derived terpenes. He's got vegetable derived stuff too.
People Wass saying that they make a big difference to extracts & joints..
They were pretty crap all of them. Horrible effects, most made me have a foggy head & feel like a comedown of a crack.. Nothing like weed..
I have some canna terpenes I bought back with me to add to my extracts to test out..
The cheese terpene isn't soluble in water like the phenol inside the glandular head.. The extracted terpenes are made in the separation extraction process. The lipids & wax & the phenols & terpenes are separated from the main cannabinoid Isolate
I have noticed that your average consumer first looks at the buds(visual) then smells(nose) the two big factors that sell cannabis in a competitive market. Bag/jar appeal & nose/smell
Check the link in my sig. There's some esoteric info in there which explains why you had to use a special flush. A slight change up in your reservoir management and you'll see some big changes. You'll save money, and you'll also see a quality jump, even with only a 5 day flush.Synthetic grow was not good until i use special flush extras, made to this.
