Sorry to hear about your dog, I love mine more than 99% of the people I meet, I know how you feel.

My wife and I are agreed that we want to wait before we get another pet.

I've heard this before and felt the same way. But it never seems to work that way. Getting a new dog really does help. It isn't a replacement, you'll always remember your last dog but a new one fills that empty feeling in the way only a dog seems to able to.

Congratulations on the new child coming. My mother used to tell me stories of when I was a newborn and how the pup that she and my father just got took up the role of older brother right away. He was always there by my crib watching over me and years later I have memories of him as great dog, my first but certainly not last. Just my experiences...

Yeah Xmas baby or new years baby, due date is the 31st officially.
I'm sure if she's like her mom she'll be ready to shop in no time.
As for a new dog just being around dogs right now leaves me cold, i guess i need a break.
