You got busted for an herb, and now you can't see the world. But the 18 year old kid from Sinaloa with a dozen beheadings to his name will be allowed to cross borders frequently.

FUCK MY ASS. Goodluck OP....is there an attorney for such issues to be sorted? Or is that to hot?

I'd like to thank everyone who has chimed in.

To flesh out the story, original arrest was for coke. Three tenths of a gram, good enough for a class B felony. Second arrest was for herb, about a half ounce. Small potatoes. At the time, I was sure I was going to jai, so when they let me post bail, I jumped on it, and fled the state before the court date.

Four years later, in a different state, a traffic stop, and my name showed up as wanted. I waited in the cop car while they called the state I was busted in, they said they know where I am, and they would figure out later what to do about it. Never heard another word.

Fast forward another 20 years, I've had another couple of traffic stops, without incident. Apparently my name is not on the outstanding warrant list.

However, that doesn't mean I'm home free. As someone pointed out, it's all about the bucks. I have no doubt that if I made myself available to them, they would bleed me dry with retroactive probation charges. I have managed to stay out of any real trouble, and it seems if I keep it that way I'll be ok. There is an upcoming family gathering in the Carribean, I would really like to attend, but the risk is just not worth it.
