GS is trending super hard right now. So is Louie 14. Insane prices for a elbow to the dispensaries.
I'm so glad I just grow for myself.. no pressure to grow this or that, just what interests me..
BTW, my soil is now on it's third go round, I've added calcined molar clay for aeration, some montmorol(something) clay, a bit of fert soaked charcoal (I've still got a few GH and Plagron organic ferts sitting around, waste not want not) and some local soil (on the sandy clay side) and a bit of some semi green manure, nettles mostly.. my plants are quite happy. Me too, as I like watching things grow, not watching em suffer.

does cannabio offer pure panama red or is it a cross with neville haze?
IMO from super old seed stock of panama to BCO's offering,she is really easy to grow
& GS cookies,a fine example of water downed OG...had a buddy bring a sample & put it up against our "lemon drop" that has been a keeper cut since 04
it seems that what it has in flavor,it lacks in high
as potent as bubba,high dont last long

I grew a few chems, OGs, the high is not very functional. Kind of a lazy stupor, not really a "happy high" that I look for either. Good taste and smell, they did get me pretty medicated but not where I wanted to go.

Someone was being stupid at some point, but it sure isnt you.
Word from people in a far better position to know than I is that they all descended through self-pollinations and f-1 crosses of the Triangle strain (from Florida -not the same a the NorCal triangle). Anyhow, story goes some old school growers came across the strain we now know OG Kush and decided it was somehow reminiscent of a cut from the actual Kush region from back in the day.

The last real kush I saw/smoked was roughly around 1993.....then it went extinct.
These 'kushes' now are some kind of indica sativa hybrid....or more likely polyhybrids. There are a lot of big named kushes that don't have the legs some of my own accidents have.....some OGks flop out early and leave a big ol headache where the buzz should be....IMO.
Not pleasurable highs....more medicated and pinned down to the couch...pinned down socially as well...dysfunctional.....the lazy generations favorite new toy. You can smoke candy flavored pot slobberin on the couch all day while mom brings you food and does your laundry.......

Kush is a place? Hell yeah dude....I'm gonna move there when my mom kicks me out. It's not just good pot...it's cron fire kill dank in the Californian tounge....better than mexican in other words..

To too many, I think so. In theory, these are all f-1s or s-1s off the first "OG Kush" (prob the sfv, Larry's, or Tahoe). The classic "rare OG"s (Ghost's, FaceOff, Hell's Angel, Poison's, Abusives, etc.). Their reputation for being finicky probably has to do with the fact that they're the result of two generations of hermit crosses.
And yah, CC - I was raised old testament - I remember passages bout Ur, Kush, and Chaldea
imho many good indica's do exactly that^^^^
i guess its cool for pain or those with energy problems but the to/bMr,Shimla's & real OG's eventually put me to sleep,numb the body and increase hunger..
i enjoy smoking, so

It is actually an old Panama crossed with a Columbian. Not the legendary Panama Red but a very good sativa with maybe a 14 wk flower cycle. That electric, trippy go out to the club thing.
The no real legs thing seems to be a trait of the "OGs". Really tasty followed by stone to the absolute bone for maybe 45 minutes. I honestly don't get it. Maybe I am just old.
Back to the Mag Hog thing. Every single green plant uses Mg for exactly the same thing...to form chlorophyll. Why would any single plant need far more?
My take is that the problem some encounter is the oversupply of K which locks out Mg...not a lack of Mg. Then people tell them to add CalMag...but the Mg is already locked out so all it does is tighten up your soil and suffocate your roots. A vicious cycle caused by poor root cause analysis.
And bloom boosters add more K to an already oversupplied situation...so fuck Kushie Kush and all the rest.
Course...I could be wrong.
