Lineage of ChemDawg known?

and a lot more then 10 peeps have the clone of ChemDawg, I know 3 people that have it and I used to have it and let it go, so I think that number is way off.

I let it go to make room for some other stuff I wanted to run, dont get me wrong I gave it to one of my close bro's and he runs it every run, but I didnt have room to keep it. I can get it back anytime I want, but I found a Rez SDv3 pheno that is almost just like the CD and it yeilds more so I run it instead. But yes the CD is top shelf stuff.

Well I know of a certain mushroom grower who swears that chemdawg is his cross of Mass Super Skunk x Mex sativa (bag seed).... and from the East coast...mtns..not west coast..

but the f cking popo's took him down about 3 years ago

i would be really suprised if that was the lineage. imho, it doesnt resemble any mass super skunk pics i have seen or any of mexican sativas i have grown. that would make it mostly sativa as well...

i actually have the #4 right beside some old-school acapulco gold cuts and 1978 oaxacan gold seedlings at the moment and the only similarity is they are all cannabis.

I would have to agree, I dont think the CD had Mass Super Skunk in it. Now as for it coming from the east coast I'm pretty sure thats not the case. Chem Dawg and many others have said that the 16 seeds came from a pound of pot picked up in Colorado. The pot was taken to Col from the Pacific Northwest and then taken east from there. The seeds where sprouted and the ChemDawg comes from those seeds along with a few other like ChemDawgs sister, SnowDawg and a few other and the Sour diesel comes from the Mass Super Skunk x ChemDawg, not from the original seeds. I really have a hard time believing that ANYONE would have to import pot into the PNW, we are exporters out here not importer. I'm not trying to talk shit or anything like that, but I have lived here my whole life and the first time I ever heard of peeps bringing pot here because they couldnt get it here was the ECSD, but that was a longtime ago, now the clone is out here also so no more imports. Dont get me wrong some of the street level people still bring in shit from BC, but I haven't had to worry about that shit for 12+ years. I may have to switch up some moms and get the Chemdawg back again to run her with the daywrecker cut I'm expecting soon, shit I might run Chemdawg, daywrecker, Omega Diesel and my SDv3 all together just so I can have a family get together, I might even have to make a drive to Nor Cal and get a OG Kush cut also if I'm going to do that then I would have the whole dam bunch.

1st its one seed , then 6 seeds, then 12 , but only 6 germ'd, now its 16 seeds... do i hear 20, or 30... how about 50??

i'm sure its good herb, but we all (at least most of us) have good herb, and i doubt it's better then some of the shit we have/are growing..

I'd smoke some before making that statment.
But it's a fair assumtion. But having smoked alot of the hybrids and the chemdawg buds once or twice. I can say honestly it is one of the better strains all around in every way. Compared to pretty much anything, it will hold it's own.
It's all a matter of personal taste, really.
But I think the reason we get alot of Cali people here is because people in Cali feel more comfortable about posting being that alot of them are under the medical MJ laws. I think people in Oregon and Washington tend to be a bit more disctreet in general compared to Californians.And I say that being born and raised in LA.
But I've lived all over this great state and it would be unfair to clump everyone together like that.

since i am not in the circle that would get a bud or a cutting of chemdawg... or for that matter any other elite... i am forced to buy seeds and hope for the best...

Like you said. It just takes some time and work to find those keeper clones.
Plus you'll get there, you'll meet peole with allthese and you'll enter that circle eventually.

There isn't any doubt in my mind about the story of the twelve seeds and how the strain that we know as Chemdog was grown and named the real mystery is what strain those twelve seeds came from.As far as the potency of Chemdog, I've been smoking for forty years and Chemdog is the only herb that I've ever smoked that gave me the room spins and had me praying to come down. That was in the early to mid nineties and the next day I knew I had to get me a cut of that bad dawgy. I held the cut til about 97-98 when I lost it to an infestation. A year or so ago I was lucky enough to get some dog back into my pound. Back to potency, it is pretty much the most potent cut in my garden but it's really not head and shoulders above my other strains but yes it is more potent to be sure. Some of the other strains I grow are Strawberry Diesel, Conquistador, SSH, Astroboy, Blockhead, Doubledog, Bubblegum, Panama Red and a bunch of my own crosses and Chemdog D is more potent than any of those. I'm not sure if the D is more or less potent than the original but they'll both knock your dick in the dirt. The ONLY mystery to me about Chemdog is what strain those original seeds came from, so far I don't see that being resolved anytime soon.

Mawi-wowie, not sure why you are so up in arms against the "seeds found it a pound of pot" story, but just because someone said 16 seeds instaed of 12 doesnt change the fact that the ChemDawg still came from a bagseed. Yes I will say it here and anywhere else," MAYBE I WAS WRONG ON THE SEED NUMBER MAYBE IT WAS 12 NOT 16." I have read almost every bit of info I can find on the ChemDawg and I smoke 1/2OZ+ of top shelf smoke everyday for the last 15 years for med reasons, so maybe I did my math wrong cause I'm a stoner and space a little bit sometimes, but for you to say it cant be as good as what everyone say, well unless you have tried it then maybe you should wait until you pass judgement cause it is really THAT DAM GOOD.
