Lightproofing exhaust

i'm trying to lightproof a 6 inch exhaust that I have my cooltube hooked up to

Will a elbow like this (painted flat black)

completely stop light? or do I need to make a direct 90 degree bend in my ducting?

Can you explain the setup a little more? Where does the exhaust exit that it needs to be lightproofed? Take a look at this page

the exhaust goes through the side of my house (6 inch) where there is a small hood type vent

im trying to stop the small amount of light that is still comming through

Hmm, that's tough. Maybe someone that has had this problem will have an answer.
I'd say do what you suggested before by adding the black sprayed 90 degree elbow!
