Hello folks.

It's all over but the drying

I think it's gonna be a decent harvest... at least a 1/4 lb of just manicured bud. It's heavy now (too bad it'll only be about 1/4 of it's current weight ).

As you can see in one of the pictures I have left the bottom of one plant alone. Well actually it's the very top of the plant that I kinda messed up when I was training it. I was hoping it would grow around back on itself and still be a top. Well it ended up about 1/2 way up the plant and just never got enough light to really grow into the "main cola" bud. Am I wasting my time trying to let it go another week or two for these buds that just didn't get the light? If so, should I start feeding it again? I'm thinking it could probably put on more bud in the next couple of weeks and if that's the case it'll need food. I've read that you can increase yield about 10 to 20 percent doing this.

Any thoughts on this would be VERY appreciated.

Well, it smells really green in here today. Got the window open to air the place out but man what a job. About 6.5 hours worth of snipping and trimming. I got a LOT of trim that I'm gonna try and save. ONE of these days I'm gonna get or make a bubble bag and make some hash. (I've tried shakin it though nylon panty hose but it just take too much effort )

Next grow is gonna be an experiment. I'm gonna pit an OGKush against a garden variety tomato plant. I'm thinking the tomato is going to get decimated by the MJ plant. Should be interesting to see.

Very very beautiful plants you have there bro! Lifesaver must be an absolute JOY to grow. New or not, all of you guys seem to do it justice. What a commercial for BOG. I've got to say, Lifesaver is at the absolute top of my list when it comes to plants I'd like to grow indoor....Too bad I'm an outdoor grower but if that ever changes, Lifesaver it will be. Abusive - I've got my resin collecting jar sittin under these here drying specimens. I smell something pretty strong in the air that's for sure. If a drug dog couldn't smell that then it's time to take old yeller behind the barn.

Growdoc - I like to trim as much of the leaf as I can. It might take me a little longer but when it comes time to smoke it, there's pretty much just bud. Mmmm tomatoes.

These buds I think are the best I've grown in my short "career". I can't imagine what these plants would do under 1K or more of light. I also don't know what I'd do with that much heat. I *almost* bought a 1K switchable system for this grow cab... but methinks it would have been the chamber of death for any plants I put in there. 400W produces some decent bud, and it definitely helps to have a kick ass strain.

This strain is a joy to grow as Tokinjoe points out. It's easy to clone, does well in hydro and grows beautiful, trichome laden, kick ya in the teeth BUDS.

I *accidentally* snipped some bud out of the bigger colas while I was pruning... and since it was *inadvertently* snipped off I might as well put it to the side to dry. Gotta try it ya know?

Still not quite dry but as you can see, there's a tric or two to be seen. Probably be sampling this in another day or so .

The rest of the buds are nowhere near dry enough yet. Gonna be a couple weeks before I really start givin this serious consideration as being smoke-worthy. The waiting is always tough.

Y/w LB and Lifesaver has been finished successfully in Wisconsin which is a pretty cold place with a short growing season. It is an easy strain to get a good yield from and the product is right up there with the best medical strains.

Yes this thread does make me proud but LB is the one who should be proud that he had the balls to grow it. BOG

Lifesaver is one special strain... someday... I will just have to grow it out.

In todays day and age, it does take nanners to grow plants. I admit, I am a little paranoid about being busted. BUT, I'd much rather grow my own than try and find a dealer and buy it on the street (last time I bought street pot it was crap and cost $120 for a quarter that was short a gram and a half, pi$$ed me off).

And I am quite proud of the bud I've grown.

As a matter of fact, the *accidentally* snipped bud has dried out nicely. I don't like to brag but Mamma Mia this stuff is strong. The taste is really nice too, and with curing it will only get better. I thought it would taste something like the last grow... but not at all. I believe the flushing has made a noticable difference in the flavor. It even smells different while it's drying.

I honestly wish I could share it with everyone who's peeked in here and made comments. I'd smoke ya up :smile:, cause I know each one of you would more than likely do the same with me :friends:.

This pot will be a pleasure to smoke... heck I'm already smokin it
