even on this thread I saw a candyland pic, now that name has been used by at least two breeders I can think of. how about ak47? search on the tude and see how many ak47's there is lol happens all the time. id get used to it.
we have the gg4 in the uk, its also around Europe now. so its out there. let it speak for itself, instead of causing all the drama.

There is an increasing importance to market strain names to marijuana consumers these days, which is leading to a lot of inaccurate strain names out there, especially at dispensaries. If a customer walks into a dispensary and is given the choice between a well known strain name and a jar full of un-named bud, the customer is much more likely to choose the one with the popular name.
Dispensary owners know this, especially shady ones. So they will slap a name on a jar and not care less if it’s accurate. All they want is to sell more bud. I had a friend work at a dispensary where the owner had a bunch of old outdoor from several harvests over the course of multiple years. The owner had no idea what strain it was, but put it on his shelves in a jar stating it was OG Kush. The nugs didn’t sell at all before they were marketed as OG Kush, because after all it was old outdoor. But within a week of putting a fake name on it, all the outdoor was gone. I guarantee this is a common thing at dispensaries across the country.
To be clear, I’m not saying all dispensaries do this. But clearly some do. An example I always point out to people is when a famous person ‘gets their own strain.’ Is the marijuana strain something completely new? Or is it a clever dispensary owner trying to cash in on a recent event?
Case in point would be any strain with Sanjay Gupta’s name on it. Sanjay Gupta aired an episode on CNN where he came out in support of medical marijuana. Within the same week people were selling strain names like ‘Sanjay Gupta Kush.’ This is clearly inaccurate. I don’t know anyone on the planet that can breed a new seed strain, grow it from seed, harvest it, and cure it all in a week. I’ve seen the same thing happen with a bunch of celebrity names.

Gorilla Glue #4 was accidently created by Joesy Whales when some Chem Sis plants he was growing hermied and pollinated his Sour Dubb. Tired of seeded gardens, Joesy tossed out the strain. But his buddy, Mardogg, still had some seeds. Mardogg popped the beans years later and ended up with 4 pheno's of the GG, deciding #4 was worth keeping.
Joesy Whales: i have been getting alot of questions about the gg4 so im going to tell everyone how it went down, a few years ago i was growing sour dubb and chem sister and some others, the chem sis threw a couple nanners and hit the sour dubb, i held those seeds for a year or so and finally popped 5 of them, they were ok, really had one nice pheno but i lost it in a security scare, the other 4 pheno's all hermed on me and tottaly seeded my whole stadium run, i was pissed, i got rid of all of it to a friend, marrdog. he kept alot of the seeds and about a year later we had a joint grow going and he popped i belive it was 6 of those seeds, i was really concerned that they would herm and dident have much hope for them, they were all female, we ended up with pheno's 1 2 4 and one we called the runt, all were outstanding, the clear winner though was the gg 4. so thanks to marrdog and lady luck

Most of that could be eliminated if those that see it speak up. Don't just let it slide tell people who is doing it so they wont buy it. If you go to a dispensary and you see shady shit post that in a review of the dispensary.. It keeps going on and on because no one does anything.. I'm not like that. If I see shady shit I speak up. If people don't like it when I speak up too bad. If I see a post from anyone knowing they have brick weed then relabeling it as grape ape oh ya im gonna say something. Its a shame others don't do the same.. I don't do business with dispensary. I know how shady they are.
They both deserve credit. GG#4 would not be here without both. She does toss naners if you stress her. Mine doesn't, im pretty sure most don't

GG4 looks good probably smokes good and imo its a fad like OG fat bubba etc hey i remember few years back blueberry was the craze my self it all depends on what a smoker prefers and a grower GG4 mentions its moderate in yield good thing its normal flowering time
Is it good for the average cash cropper or someone doing 1000 plant grows ??? probably not as it falls in the unstable side other wise it looks really good my self i am leaning more towards hybrid sativa and want to cross Digi berry F2 with cherry pie x pck IMO bag appeal will be 100 percent yield will be outstanding being its in the chem family , and smoke out of this world

She is not moderate in yield she is a heavy hitter. I get 2lb+ per light.. She is not unstable no clue where you got that info. When she was st released everyone was paranoid because she came from a naner pollination. Since then we all know otherwise. Excellent to make other beans with. Super potent, awesome flavor, Big yielder. We all have out opinion but dude ya gotta grow the strain before you can have one. Anyway if you guys want to continue go for it im out.
