Cell's leave data embedded within the pic. can be GPS or other personal info. That is called Exif Data. You don't want to leave that intact.. If the site doesn't remove this then you need to...

I am intrigued by the gg4 but am new to the strain and never have grown it myself, but I am hearing that the "real" gg4 will test always at 28% or higher and anything that tests under 28% is not "real", so the best way to know is have it tested.

Im confused there is only gg#4 Gorilla Glue #4 and gg#1 Gorillia Glue#1. There is no such thing as Gorilla Glue? unless someone trying to cash in on JW strain name witch is a fucked up thing to do.

I don't know ANYTHING about gg4, or gg? honestly, I'm guessing anything that's not GG4 is just a GG4 cross? But it seems there is a ton of gg4 that isn't real out there , unfortunately, from what little I know. I'm not really sure what to even look for honestly, I'm just getting some cuts (like I posted above, that is from the clones a friend got from a club labeled gg4, but obviously it's not as someone pointed out quickly when I mistyped (gg4 is in my phone dictionary so when i type gg my phone puts in gg4)here's a link with a guy dan kone that mentions some things about gg4

The physical appearance of that plant is not similar to what people are familiar with for Gorilla Glue #4.
If someone used Gorilla Glue in a cross and developed the plant you have, it would not be Gorilla Glue.
If they did a self cross of GG4 to itself, that would create S1's, which would also not be Gorilla Glue #4, although it would share many characteristics. It would probably be best described as Gorilla Glue #4 S1. I don't think what you showed is a GG4 S1 either, based on the pics i've seen so far of the S1's.
no clue how someone came up with that as the defining method for identifying GG#4. 28% is pretty high. some growers may get that but the reality is that those numbers are usually not reproducible from one lab to another. It's fair to say that GG4 has a higher THC count than many plants but to state it would always get 28 or more or its a fake seems a little over the top
You cant use a strain name that already been used Gorilla Glue is the strain name. The #4 is seed # from the group of seeds that where popped. You posted you got the cut from your friend. The way you posted it was like you knew it was not the real glue but had the same name and you guys where ok with that... That is why I posted what I did.. If your buddy got a mislabeled cut that's different that happens more than it should. I just don't want tosee someone use JW strain name on some hack that is not what JW found. If someone intentionally names some strain the same it would cause so much confusion and would give the real cut a bad name. I don't want that to happen... So if you guys got mislabeled cuts I misunderstood your post I apologize... You should have said you got a mislabeled cut. We all would know what you where talking about. GG#4 is the same thing as Gorilla Glue.. There is no other strain with this name. Many of us dont even use the #4 when we are talking about the glue.

I understand man, I'm just a personal grower is all, I know how hard people work to make strains though and it's all love. The cut was from a san jose club and labeled as gg#4 and after my friend flowered it out he knew it wasn't real and I accidentally hit the post reply button before I could edit it, I wasn't sure what to label it as, as I think it's got gg4 in it (but not sure what else) :/ We just like good buds is all, me or my friends would never steal a name, or tell someone it's something that it's not (intentionally) we have many morals and like I said, making a strain is like making a baby and I understand that completely, I can change the name on the post from gorilla glue, but as it was labeled gg#4 I really don't know what to call it damn clubs, I swear this always happens getting cuts from a club, it's not fair, we really wanted the real gg4 and grew these out and to find it's not real was messed up, it's good bud don't get me wrong, but we know it's not real, so that's why he told me it's just some sort of gorilla glue cross or something.
