Got rid of powdery mildew, now getting bud rot, especially with Fatso. Is there a point in flower when spraying with Serenade or baking soda is too late? At 6 weeks, and probably going 10 weeks, although have never grown these before. Fatso, Chimera #3, and Sub Zero, if any is really what they said it was.

Really wish I still had GG4 and never bothered with the other 30 newer strains that were all infected or infested. Grew it in damp basement and never had mold or bud rot.

You're not in CO are you?

Heya Guys - forgot my login so i had to make new acc. got back to growing after like 10 years .
i like the leds so got a nice panel and all was good until i went from 200w to 400w (light is about 55cm above the tips) and then the plants started to yellow a little after that i found some necrotic spots on tips .
went for the flush with nice PH (6,4) and EC (0,9) outcome .
Using Shogun Fertilizers for soil - calmag , roots etc . plants are in Canna prof+ and in 20L airpots.
watering with 6,3-6,5PH water (tap) EC around 1,6-1,7 at 4 week of veg and Nebula strain.
i think it is not enough N but its so long i had plants that im kinda unsure what it can be.
they do look healthy , but the growth seems to be slower .
humidity around 55-60all the time during night cycle up to 75
thank you :)

edit: solved :)

My plants are sick. Any plant doctors here?

They are actually much darker green than they look in the photos (crappy cell phone camera).

@Hempy McNoodle that is a soil problem and lack of Calcium,

what soil do you use?
It's called 'Recipe 420.' I've used it with other plants with good results but I have changed fertilizers. But, this happened with my last crop also. Both crops are from a cross that I made. And, were totally beautiful until about two weeks into flower they totally start this crash and go downhill the bud from the last one was superb , none the less. So, it seems to be mostly cosmetic and also I want happy plants, of course. Could it be a genetic problem? Lack of calcium, you think? Hey, I sure do appreciate your feedback. I've never been good at reading plant leaves other than happy vs unhappy (sick).

Please explain me a bit those "recipe 420",what you put inside those soil mix?

What kind of nutes you use?

Do you use agro lime for buffering?

Here in California, 'Recipe 420' is a commercially sold bagged soil. It is found at most garden stores or departments. It is actually pretty good.

As far as nutrients go, I used to use worm castings, blood meal, wood ash, and bone meal. I would frequently make castings tea. I had great results. But, lately, I just used blood meal, bone meal, and wood ash. But, I ran out of ash and bone meal so I switched to lengbeinite and fish bone meal. Maybe I should go back to worm castings teas, wood ash, bone and blood meal?

I'm basically trying to simplify fertilization, but don't want to sacrifice my plant's health to do it.

Try to flush your plants that are affected, then later use rather true fishmeal, but quality one that will be for
N part, your leafes are pale yellow, they need N,also use Cow-Horse dung dry pellets to add more nutes.

Dont forget to add Calcium like agro-lime to buffer your soil mix.

Wood ash is not good stuff for organics, avoid that.

Blood meal, bone meal is stuff that goes in very small amounts, specialy blood meal, too much N and can fuck your plants.

Fish bone meal is also not great, lot of P inside and P you add rather thru bat guano but after 4 weeks in flowering.

Wish you best

Hey thank you ZR! I appreciate the advice! What do you think about sea bird guano for P and diluted coconut water for K?

Sea bird guano is higher in N than bat guano from fruit bats that is higher in P,
so bird guano is good more for vegetative phase while bat guano is much better for flowering.

Coconut water never used so i dont know much on that amendment.

Thought my late flower buds, some were getting mold since turning brown, but see nothing moldy looking. It is hot, low humidity and bright under cranked up LED's. Will try to get pictures and microscopic pictures and post the here tomorrow.

Looked at a problem guide and looks like Fusarium wilt, which is buds starved by stem blocked by mold. This is picture from guide, will post mine tomorrow.

Is this nute burn? What do the red stems mean or is it strain related?

What's up with these yellow and brown and crunchy leaves? I don't think it's nitrogen because it's from leaves near the top of the canopy and not the bottom of the plant. Possible phosphorous deficiency or a fungus?

These are the best pics I could get with my camera.

The medium is:
6 gallons of Sunshine Mix #4
2 gallons of Earthworm Castings
2 gallons of Perlite
1.25 cups of Down To Earth All Purpose 4-6-2
1.25 cups of powdered dolomite lime

I use that for 3 to 4 weeks in veg and use plain water pH'd to 6.5.
Flower,
Week 1: PBP Grow @ 5mL per gallon of water
Week 2: PBP Grow @10mL per gallon
Week 3: PBP Grow @5mL and PBP Bloom for Soil @5mL
Week 4: PBP Grow @5mL and PBP Bloom for Soil @10mL < this is what I believe burned them.
I'm still on Week 4.
All feeds are pH'd to 6.5 pH.

The soil mix needs more perlite because I only have to water once a week. I also don't water/feed to run off. Maybe I should do feed, water, feed, instead of feed, feed, feed????

Take a pic of the whole plant.

Mag deficiency from light green between veins. In coco would check runoff and check PH and PPM vs feed PPM and PH. If plant dying from bottom up and leaves not falling off on their own could be fusarium or root rot, starving the upper part of plant. It basically clogs the stem so not nutrient or water get to top.
