Hi fellow growers!:tiphat:

I am having some trouble with my plants and was hoping, some of you could help me.

Here is the info:

Strain: Kalashnikova from GHS
Grow: Hydro (bubble bucket)
Temp.: 27°C (with the light on)
Humidity: 60% (light on)
EC: 1.18
Fertilizers: GHE (general hydroponics)
Tank volume per plant: 10L
Light: 250w hps (cooltube)

And i change the nutrient solution every week.

The plants' disorder started occuring about two or three weeks ago, i've put the plants to flowering cycle (12/12) one week ago (after 3 weeks of veg).

This is how the plants look like:

Thank you for your help in advance and have a nice day!

Hiya. I have two plants that are dying at the moment. I posted a thread here.

One of the plants was extremely susceptible and sensitive to powdery mildew--she may have been doomed from the start. The other, I'm not really sure what's going on, but she was always perhaps the most sensitive plant in the garden, especially to water (or lack thereof--particularly thirsty and would let you know immediately).

Thanks a lot for any insight into the problem. <3

...Every grower at one time or another has to face the stark reality of seeing their best plants growing sick and perhaps dying...

...On this forum we will record and investigate various plant ailments in the worthwhile persuit of hopefully helping to eradicate or at least control various pest problems that you or I may encounter today or tommorrow...

...So please....if you have a sick plant....maybe we can help?.....photograph it and give us a report about your trials and tribulations concerning the infestation or mould or unknown plant sickness that you are having to cope with......

Accurate reports should contain as much information as possible in regards to the growing conditions, variety and location of the plant and what you are doing to try and combat the problems you face....

afternoon all,

I noticed some strange white stuff on 2 of my plants today, here are pics and info;

Unknown hybrids, small statured fruity smelling, tight budded , grown from seed straight in 12/12.

Currently a week or two to go, some amber showing through.

They are in 2litre plastic pots in canna professional fed gh 3 part, currently getting plain water at room temp.water is soft

not using ec/ph meter

thermometer close to top of 1.2m x 1.2m dark street box, generally close to 80f

water when pot is light

flower under 600w hps, bulb less than year old

bathroom extractor blowing directly over bulb, oscillation at pot level, ruck fan exhausts

plants have been left to grow naturally

have a thrip problem too,

got 19 hybrids nearly ready to come out with 10 or so coming on in about 7 weeks.

no other plants seem to have this, though will check thoroughly tomorrow as they sleeping now

any help very gratefully received

cheerio and many thanks

Can't tell from the photo, but when I get white on flowering buds its normally the start of mould it starts off looking like white fluff its waiting to attack dead plant matter. If you catch it when still white you should be OK. If it is mould increase ventilation and air flow, keep fans going at night and increase night time temps to prevent condensation in the mornings.

Veg issue

Veg issue

I've got two plants, one is a mystery and the other is a King's Kush. Both are showing the same symptoms (wilting, discoloration--pinkish crunchy leaf edges and dull yellowing with some brown), and I need help diagnosing it.

First I'll put up pictures:

Mystery
attachment.php

King's Kush
attachment.php

Now details:

Coco
PH 5.7-6.0
Maxibloom
Silica Blast
Occasional Epsom salt feeding
Temp: 75-55 degrees F

My guess is either a N def. sailt build up, or calmag issue.

Any input is welcomed!

Did you Rinse your coco? I've seen threads where people run a gallon RO water through the Coco straight outa the bag and have a 1400 PPM run off.

how much and often are you feeding with Epsom salt,Very well could be a salt build up

Have you taken PH or ppm readings from ur coco yet?

And lastly since it is coco your using a Cal Supplement right? along side with the Mag you get from the Epsom salt

I did rinse my coco, but maybe not well enough. I only feed epsom salt once every two or three waterings. I havent taken PH readings from the actual coco. No calcium supplement, doesnt epsom salt have enough calcium in it?

I ended up flushing the plants, and then watering with some nutrients. Left for 4 days, and then came back. The plants are looking much better. Guess that is all that was needed.

Now I am just dealing with some mites under the coco in my flowering plants. fuuuuuck

i noticed that something strange is going on with 2 of my ladies. this are papaya and opium clones. on veg i had some spider mites problem [i brought them with this 2 clones], but they're gone now, after spraying with neem oil and abamectine. after 3 weeks i found out something strange. it happens on the oldest and biggest fan leafs, then spreading on other parts.
some info:
ph level -6,5
medium: soil [biobizz light mix]
temp: 18-20C[night], 26-29C [day]
light: hps 400w
ferts: canna terra flores, pk 13/14, canna boost - the doses are not to high, every 2 weeks i add some epsom salt to add some mg.
first i fought it may be some kind of fungus so i sprayed them with sal de cobre, but it doesn't work.

Looks strange! Never seen it before, but I'd suggest at least spraying with neem/dish soap/water mix. Hopefully somebody chimes in with the answer to what that is though, I would like to know too!

Sick seedling please help.

Sick seedling please help.

This is a 5-6 day old Tangerine Dream feminized seedling grown in local soil. No idea what is in it. I repotted it from some black compost looking soil mix in a party cup stuff into something a bit more brown looking. Again a local soil except a different brand.

It developed this problem whilst being under CFL's indoors in a home made semi cab. It has only been fed water and not really a lot of that. Have watered it very light have included some pics of the last few days including one taken today.

The temp and RH indoors have been 298-33 degrees Celsius and I took it outdoors to try and recouperate it during the day from day 4 after it had been repotted. Outside the RH is 50% and temp ranges from 31 degrees to 21 degrees at night.
At night after a few hours of dark I bring it inside and put it under lights until the morning. Now under CFL lights the temp is managed at 29 degrees with a RH of 65-70%.
I should point out the problem started BEFORE I took the plant outdoors.

Mold on stem!

Mold on stem!

:1help:

some of my plants got mold on the base of the stems!
shoud i be worry about it? how can i 'kill it' ?

here it is,

she is at 7 weeks in flower...more 2 weeks or so for harvest!
grown under leds.
the major problem is temperature, around 17\18ºC with light on...
humidity is pretty high, around 80% some times, now i'm trying to maintain it at 70%...

i already clean it, and end up screwing a litle of stem...

but should i be worried? can it go to the nugs, or affect other plants?
(sorry for the bad english...hope you can understand! :chin: )

Aloha Gang, I need some help. Can anyone Identify what's happening on my plant with this spotting?

Is it possible they could be heat spots? What kind of reflective material are you using in your grow room?

The only thing that looks like to me is Scale. If it is you can make a few applications of Safers Endall, and whipe them off.
