Well Im on my first grow of a Ohio Death Star clone I was lucky to acquire. I am doing a side by side and the other plants, Super Lemon Haze, looked to be getting tall in veg and I had to flip all of them a week earlier than I probably should have. BUT these are going well for me I think and even though they could have veged a while longer there are branches flopping over and I had to add more support than I thought. Dense buds, lots of them for a plant this size. I never have done a SCROG but I feel this plant would be a great candidate. Maybe next run. Anyway this is day 56 and from what you have all said looks like day 70-75 will be my window. I have not scoped them yet and wont even do that till day 65. Hope Im doing this strain some justice and I cant wait to sample it after at least a few weeks of cure. I got this to gift the bulk of this to a fam member with cancer (which is one of the single digit percentage that has been caught in time pancreatic and expected to come thru OK) and in after surgery chemo at this moment. This wont be ready before the chemo is done but I have been gifting about 90% of the Rubber Citi run before this and I had my hands on the Death Star.

That really sounds interesting.

The Deathstar x Lemon G13 cut is very funky and has a noxious odor. Girls referred to it smelling like the chemicals used in hair perms. It was noxious almost chemical or solvent like with a hint of the funky lemon from the lg. It was comparable to chem or og funk but more chem and gas than any earthy notes. Pretty big dstar style nugs with some foxtail-ish looks to them at the end.

I agree, here is how it was described when offered to me:

it's Ohio deathstar x sour diesel. It bred by pipsweed and selected from 50+ plants. It is like sour on steroids and throws baseball bats.

i'll be running a few cuts of it here in about a month, so probably 2 months before any good pic's

Today is day 70 and I need to take a pic and will next few days and the scope shows the trichomes almost all cloudy but not as many amber as expected but according to the advice of you guys who have grown out this one to the max its still a few days off. As a side the SLH Im doing side by side has more amber but fewer cloudy with about 30% maybe clear. Funny thing is the ODH is very uniform in the color of the trichomes across the plants and buds but not a whole lot of fade. The flowers show more ready to chop than the scope just by looking at them and the plan is on day 75-76 to take them down.

Today is day 77 and they come down in a few hours. Plants were not as big as should hve been since I didnt veg them as long as I would have liked but I think we have some good smoke coming. Sorry but first pic is about 10 days back. Second pic is right before.

I've never seen deathstar turn purple. I've only ever known silver greasy golfballs

i know many that it didnt go purple for either, even those that made it fwiw...anyways, hell of a plant purple or not. I know ours legit as went from to us with a mutual friend in-between and it def didn't go purple for them either.

Mine are drying right now. 4 weeks more to try. Woo Hoo!!!!! I originally acquired this for a fam member with a very nasty form of cancer and this person is in the single digit percentage that beat it so now its gonna be a rec for that person. I will keep and try some for sure but most of it gets passed on.
