great work @Jahaze , the extra feeding looks to have really worked well.. it looks very similar to its mother, and i'm glad you said incense - because that's what ive been thinking about the two clones of the mother i have atm (seeded in the repro). the musky, woody smell is getting a real incense twang as she matures... i can also see as it matures that it is similar in buds structure to two of the DC girls in the repro.
Those buds look like they've gained some real density in the extra week or so that she was matured.

Indoor/Outdoor smoke report lemon thai s1.

If you have been following this thread you all know I found a plant that checked many boxes for me and I've been growing it for a few cycles now. This year I decided to run a cutting of the same plant both indoors (ILT) and outdoors (OLT) to see if any differences emerge and if the longer outdoor season made for a much better end product. The outdoor plant was started sometime in June and came down Oct 10th or there about. My indoor gal went 9.5 weeks and they finished with a week of each other so the flower is roughly the same age and cured for about the same time before this smoke session. I did take pictures of the outdoor plant but for the life of me can't find them. I may have deleted them accidentally. I will say that the leaf structure was thinner with slightly longer leaflets than what I typically see from this plant indoor. The outdoor plant was in a 5gal fabric container in a uncovered location but with the ground tilled and shallow hole mixed with just compost and nothing else. The sides and top were mulched with shredded barck and the plant top dressed as needed throughout the long season. For the indoor plant I treat it like I usually do and if you are interested you can read the beginning of the thread to see how I typically grow. Both samples where flowers that were ground and rolled into about 1gram joints with a tip to keep things the same as much as possible. Ok with that out of the way let me dive in to my smoking impressions.

Dry Pull:

OLT= Very minty and lemony with a milder incense woody note on the pull. Smells lemony and minty with a touch on incense just like the dry pull.
ILT= Some mint but mostly a strong woody incense with a prominent lemon base note. Damp carpet type flavor/smell dank flavor on the pull almost skunky. The outdoor plant did not have this dry musky flavor profile at all.

Smoke flavor/smell:

OLT= Minty lemon with a bright flavor. Some nose tingle from the minty thing. I the woody incense is there on the exhale but the overwhelming flavor is the minty lemon. smooth draw and exhale with a pleasant mouth feel. Sweeter incense smell less woody.
ILT= Flavor seem more evenly balance between the lemon, mint and the big bold woody incense. The flavor is richer and smoke feels thicker. While the minty flavor is definitely more muted the nose burn is very pronounced with a minty burn on exhale. The smoke is full and flavorful. Incense smell in the air is a dank woody smell with the damp rug smell hanging around and sticking to everything it touches. I find I like the taste better in the indoor sample.

Effect:
OLT= Hits fast! like after a couple of hits I feel it sweep over filling my head with mild pressure and slight visual distortions from a super clear type high. A bit of buzzing in my legs and ringing in my ears like never before. Very good energy but calming at the same time with greater separation of the senses than I have ever experienced with the indoor plant. Comforting sense of euphoria and a feel good vibe. I get a spiritual sensation from smoking the OLT I have never experienced before. The incense smells that hangs in the air is sweeter and lighter but just as pleasant.
ILT= The effect comes on quickly but not as quick or intense as the outdoor sample. The effect is similar but I feel a bit more body now that I am comparing the two. The outdoor sample is mostly head with but I do feel like there is more of a body component to the indoor sample when I smoke the two side by side. Normally I dont notice the body effect but next to the outdoor sample its noticeable. Again the calming energy is there with a great sense of well being with a lot of grinning. The smoke is thicker and dank and as a result the effect feels more balanced.

Impressions and considerations:

I am really enjoying the OLT smoke for its intense lift off and spiritual sense I get from smoking it. The smoke is milder in flavor and smell but the effect lasts longer and there is a pleasurable sensory distortion with visuals and sounds. Great with music and watching the clouds roll by. The indoor sample has more depth to the flavor and smell with a pronounced dank smell. Btw, I checked an older sample of ILT from a previous run and the dank wet rug smell seems to be coming from the woody incense but I had never noticed it like that before. It seems like its always been there but now that its missing it somehow jumps out. Its interesting to me that the same plant can produce slightly different takes on the same smell given different environmental factors. Without question the UV energy its getting from the sun is creating a slightly different take on the same terpenes. I am not ready to grow it outdoor exclusively yet because the indoor gal is giving my almost every thing the OLT does minus the prolonged effect and spiritual kind high. The indoor plant just tastes better and smells better. My guess is that in the harsh outdoor environment with rain, strong wind, insects and strong energy from the sun those delicate and volatile terps dont survive to harvest. Indoors the gentle fan and warm constant temp and humidity keeps many of those fragile terps intact and as a result more flavor and smell. As luck would have it next season I have been given some grow space in a covered outdoor green house with fans to circulate air and plan to run this same plant in both a covered and uncovered outdoor environment and see if the green house plant will top both of these in effect and flavor. In the mean time I will happily continue to grow this indoors and wait for spring when I can plan my next move. To be continued...
