Legal grow states are not setting good examples!!!

Almost NONE of the "Card-holding" MMJ "Patients" in Michigan that I know of are terminally ill...

Same deal as California... Look around. You'll see. No one asked me for medical records when I applied for a Card in MI.

If more Michiganders had the skills (Which more of them will someday - it's called a 'learning curve.'), they would blow-it-up in the grows as much as anyone else... Those I know who can, DO.

Spidermites, and other pests/diseases keep the gardens in check over there. I was sort of an inspector for various people in their grows, and I rarely saw a healthy room.

I knew one Dispensary Owner in Oakland County, Michigan (now shut), who took a whole room of mite-infested, mildewed plants at least 10 days early. And after a minor trim - he placed all the flowers in a Food Dehydrator for 2 hours. Then directly to the Display case for his "Medical Patients."

Sounds outlandish, but I saw it.. He didn't want me to see him do it, because he was embarassed, knowing that I was aghast. Money was his main goal...

Lively thread.. Hijacked by an opinionated typist. Basically, envy by any other name. Nothing new..

WOW now you got to be "TERMINALLY ILL"..... geez.. that sucks,,, when can you just smoke it for the sake of smoking it without all these very fucked up rules you guys have come up with?? I miss the good ole dayz... lol.. :comfort: headband 707

Whatever the reason(s) for the current state of affairs, rives is absolutely correct when he states that patients, whom I qualify as anyone holding a recommendation, are losing access to cannabis at a phenomenal rate. But it's worse than that, they're also being restricted from growing their own as well.

IF anyone is interested in the reasons why, then everything and everyone must be examined before simply laying blame. I have yet to read of a single city council meeting, a single board of supervisors meeting, or anything other than a tea party meeting where anti-cannabis sentiment by residents so greatly outweighs pro-cannabis sentiment. I'm talking citizens, where the rubber meets the road. Yet *our* wishes are being ignored. I personally need to know why, otherwise my efforts to change what I view as bad law are for naught.

I happen to view it as being tantamount to voting without truly understanding an issue, candidate or piece of legislation.

In Washington state there are alot of great patients and growers but the proliferation of for profit scumbags is on the rise when our system can be non-profit only. I know coop workers who have had wage theft committed against them and coop owners who steal from growers. There are clearly alot of organized crime orgs involved pushing crap to patients. Even the ones who were supposedly truly supporting the medical patents here turn out to be greedy scumbags. Never the less in my opinion those of us who are true patients and truly care about other patients should protect our genetics(since we don't grow crap) and not donate to sweatshop coops charging 15-20 a gram. Ive shopped around and some of the stuff here is downright disgusting and most of smells like hay.

Not surprised that is what greedy black market and coop owners would do. Its the reason so much of the meds at shops smells like hay

i think its all on the person sure there are some that really don't need it and will abuse it but there are 10 times more that it actually helps them in a legit way. id rather deal with the minority that abuse it then for those who need it to loose it.
