LED SOIL SCROG: a prayer before tying

Here's my girls approaching desirable ripeness.I think one is very close. The others are still producing new pistils.
I am detecting amber on just one plant.

Any thoughts?

MR

what is the purpose of "scrog".?. is this somethiing that is started in the veg state or flower.
what end result are you shooting for". I have a brobrlem when switching to flower all the plants take off straching and I end with a lot of long limbs with small pop-corn flowers. Using cfl blulb l and use 85w with 6500k for veg and 65w 2700k I keep my ligths about 2" above plants thru both veg and flower.

A scrog is a screen that is placed over a plant, or plants. As it grows shoots through the screen, you can pull them back under (some people train over the screen as well) to a further hole from the center. This spreads the plant out and creates a nice even canopy if done well. It's a very efficient method of growing, and you can use it to control your stretch which should help you out a lot. Definitely get those CFLs closer to the plants, they aren't very hot and you can put them very close. That should help with the density and yield of your buds, also they'll stretch less if they get more light, part of it depends on genetics, though. If they touch the bulbs they will burn slightly on the outside, avoid it when you can, but it happens and it's not a big deal. Do you use both lights at the same time? You may only need the 6500k for veg, but I would use both for flower, or 2 2700k bulbs ideally if you can source another one. The plants always appreciate extra light, but I can understand if you can only use one without running the temperature up too much, as I have this problem, too, at times.

Mohammed I wouldn't worry about a few new pistils, sometimes that's just genetics/environmental conditions. You don't need to wait until they are all orange everytime, most people agree that trichomes are a better indicator. I would harvest now if it was my plant, from those last pics.

Hi mr,
Gratz on your successful grow!!!!
Talk about similarities... I'm using the 62% Boveda packs as well.
Sounds like you are happy with the end result - It's nice when things work out :)

Are those nep jam? Looks so different to mine :). The colour is very dark. Beautiful looking buds though. Can I ask what LED panel you are running?

The led is a 900 watt (480 actual draw) from ledgrowlightmanufacturer on ebay. It works pretty well.

I used a very well aged super soil and pretty much water only. The leaves held dark color till the end ...no burn at all.
