LED SOIL SCROG: a prayer before tying

Hey DT,

How's things growing? post some updated photo's please? Very curious to compare the bud development with the differing LED's.

Hi MR!
Your girls are looking good. I wouldn't worry too much about the size of the buds - this is our first run after all :)

Here are two photos from a few minutes ago:

Whoa. That is looking great man. A lovely achievement.

Have you adjusted the light height any further? What kind of grub are you feeding them?

The light is up to 19" above the screen. They are getting General Organics (BioThrive Bloom, CaMg+ and BioBud). They get the recommended amounts, but only once a week.

DT. When did you pop those beans?

Mine poked through the soil on July 6. They began 12 / 12 Sept 9.

3 of the 4 girls were purchased as clones in June, they were kept small under a compact floro while I finished getting my tent setup. They went into the tent on July 29th and flipped to 12/12 on August 31st.

Thank you for your tip, I would never even come up with the idea that somebody's post count indicates anything, on the other hand I stand behind my statement as being true. A quick search for red/purple stem here on icmag will give you some good answers, but the best place to educate yourself about the red genetics is surely DJ's forum, Mr. Alkaline breeds for this desirable traits actually.

Hey DT got an update?

These pics are at 31 days of 12/12. Curiously many of those fresh pistils seemed to have appeared after giving it a drenching with straight rain water! Prior to that it had received 3 -4 consecutive waterings that included molasses or honey or maple syrup. I give the plants a drench 3-5 days apart depending on readings from my index finger.

Anyone give a suggestion as to how far from chopping i might be? I'm in no rush just curious and I want to be prepared.

Hi mr!
Those buds are looking nice! I'm still thinking about when to stop nutes and chop. I've just noticed a couple of amber trichomes, so I'm tentatively thinking about stopping nutes next week.

Here some pics from a few minutes ago:

Hi mr!
The color on your buds is amazing! They look fantastic!

My Super Lemon is almost done and Girl Scout is close behind - they are on water only and I expect to harvest them sometime over the next 5-14 days. The Obama OG probably needs 2-2.5 more weeks and the Cannatonic is really slow (needs at least 3 more weeks.)

Here's some pix from 2 days ago:

Looks tasty DT. Our grows are fairly parallel it seems. You're a couple weeks ahead of me so psyched to hear how it weighs up and tastes.

Do you have some new babies queued up for another round?

Thanks. We're definitely within a week or two of each other :)
I'm not expecting an awesome yield, but I'm optimistic about the quality.

Funny you should ask about the next round. We keep bonsai moms of the 4 strains we're growing. Here's a pick of some candidates for the next grow:

The cannatonic (upper left) had some struggles, but the Obama OG (right rear) is doing okay, and the GS Cookies (foreground) are just amazing. I should have some super lemon haze cuts in the next week.

I'm at day 51 and one of these gals looks real close. I'd appreciate a look by someone who is discerning in the "is it done" department.

DT

Where are you as far as harvest action?

I just to the cutters to my super lemon haze 30 minutes ago.... actually made me a little sad to cut her down, but I'm also excited that I made it this far.

I think my GSC and Obama are about 2 weeks from from being done, and the cannatonic is a slow girl, I'm thinking another 3+ weeks for her.

Your buds are mouthwatering! Hopefully someone with more experience can weigh in on how soon you should chop.

Appreciate RS...I only see clear so far on each plants trichomes. I will take a close inspection tmwr. i shall post a pic if uncertain.
