Looking good!

How long are you going to run her?

Aiming for 10. Well see how things look around 8 or 9 and go from there. What is your honest estimate based on development?

Another thing to note, the smell is very berry sweet, has that purple ish smell to it. Ever since veg, I have had these completely uniform purple stripes that run all the way up the stems. I will get you a picture, but that usually comes from Blueberry genetics right? It is the most unique thing I have seen. Its not all purple like a deficiency , the stems are all green still, but its like 2 parallel lines running on each side of the plant. The base of the stem by the soil smells like purple-berry koolaid, but the tops smell similar to Blue Dream. Anything you may have experience before?

Here are the purple stripes/lines that I was talking about and a bud close up.

Day 48 12/12

Things are blowing up. She looks extremely healthy and is budding up by the day. She already has this wonderful wonderful blueberry dankness smell that I am quite familiar with. Might be Azure Haze (DJ Shorts Blueberry x Silver Haze) based on the Blueberry profile on this one. Azure is also known to be a "Stretchy Indica" so this also explains the super broad fan leaves in the veg, but such an extreme stretch for a broad leaf cultivar. This is some of the best weed I have ever had and one of my favorite strains. Unfortunately, this was my only seed. What are peoples opinion on revegging/monstercropping? Reveg and make this a mother? This plant also seems to be extremely durable and tolerant.

Day 64 12/12

Anyone else notice late bursts if white hairs when you using LEDs? It seems right when I think things are done, more pistils just shoot out right when I think I am getting close to harvest. The same thing happened last time around. Last she night was approximately 40/60 white/orange pistils, and I wake up today and she looks more like 70/30. Smells amazing, the tops are developing some frosty frosty purple calyxes. I could probably cut the main colas off today, but I think another week or so will do so that the lower stuff can catch up. Also might I add that my camera really makes it kind of different. It really has a lot more dark pistils then you can really see. Trichomes on the tops are cloudy and milky, I feel I am coming up on its peak.

In my experience and research, trichomes are a better indicator then pistils. I think she is going down in a week, no more then 2 at tops.

Been flushing as well.

i dont think its led making more white hairs, but the lower radiant? heat keeping those new pistils alive longer, so it seems there are more new hairs but theyre old hairs tha dont try out as quick as under hps?
or its the far red in hps putting them to sleep earlier and under led they think its has 1hours left?
looking at your spindely top, whats your temp/hours of light?
nvm could just be haze genetics in it, didnt see what strain

12/12 75-80. 40% RH, pretty much optimal conditions.

It was a random bag seed, but after some research, I am about 90% it is Azure Haze, which is DJ Shorts Blueberry x SSH. It had that Blue Dream smell to it at first, but I realized what it was after the Blueberry smell came out. Suppose to be a 10 week girl. You are right about the Haze Characteristics, but with tones of Blueberry terps. Really Dense buds.

Think I should drop a 1/2 hour of light?

I've had the same thing happen with cfl's. Some strains will just keep putting out white hairs, even after ten weeks.

The purple vein is nothing bad, lot of people like to see purple veins. Search on ICMAG, I'm not kidding.

You are correct, i also look at the overall plant structure, after awhile you can just tell when a plant is done.

But as for the spurts of growth of new hairs, that's genetics in my experience, as i have had plants that just do one run of throwing out hairs and then they all age at the same rate, to others that go through a two stage finish where they look like they are petering out then pretty much over night a new flush of pistils and calyxes bust forth to finish a week and half to two later, to ones that just keep throwing out new hairs but slowly start to slow down there production till they are only throwing out the odd ones here and there.

It's pretty much all genetics in my opinion when it comes down to all that, unless your playing with some weird light schedules and are half re-vegging plants and such.

I think she is ready. Look at those trichomes! Now just imagine that without the new white pistils. Gonna probably have to pull tomorrow, got a family emergency and wont be around for a little bit. In a perfect world, would have gone the full 70, but priorities people. 65 is close enough. Get some trim pictures for you soon.

Hey guys, back after a several year hiatus. Here is my recent project. Dr. Blaze Sour Diesel just over a week in flower. Still using Ocean Forest, perlite, floranova bloom and PH'd tap water I currently have the plant in a 1/2 sq/ft section. The container is just over 1l. Running 3x14w LEDs and so far everything has been perfect. I am hoping to get close to 1GPW this time as I got .78 my first run which was far from ideal.

Plant has doubled in height in the first week of flower. Currently about 5 inches tall and have been using LST to keep it shorter.

Day 3, 5, 8

Day 10

Showed her first pistils today.

Trained her really well this go around. The canopy is pretty even.

I have been smelling a hint of diesel already.

Day 14.

Added a 20w 5000k LED. Adding it shouldn't hurt anything right?

20 is a lot. i don't see anything that says that little plant needs more light? that, and you're only stretching another week?

what does your meter say?

I ended removing the side light. Just gonna stick with my original 42w of LED. Seems plenty on second thought.

Haven't tested it with a meter.
