Ummmmm............huh?

The reason I ask is I started this thread, and then I had this genious idea that autoflowers might work really well in that application....outdoors, in coco....So I guess I'll be keeping an eye on this and other autoflower threads.

Ok here is one I just pulled out and transplanted and at 16 days from seed check out the roots on this lady another week or so and I think she may have become root bound !

Plus the side branching on these is great. I'll be excited to see another members grow thread to see if its the strain or the LED lights ?

For some reason I guess because of how droppy they seemed I thought the root structure was going to be weak was I ever wrong. ( Maybe thats why they were droppy already root bound ? )

Looking nice S_a_H, please tell me, what will be final container size?

I've just ordered Sour60 at SB, can't wait to launch them! :)

Yeah they are looking good and I noticed some more females and males this morning.

So really be watching when you get close to the 12th day I am sure if I had been more watchful I would have noticed them a couple days ago.

I am also going to be thinking I need a deeper pot for the next run as the root structure could have easily gone deeper.

They are going in 1.7 gallon Rose Buckets.

Looking good S a H, how are you liking the light so far?

At first I was apprehensive at using new technology because I am a plug-n-play kinda guy want it to work when I plug it in and go. That is what happened pretty much sure there is going to be a learning curve. Like now the worry is not about how hot the room gets but how cold it is !!! When summer gets here they should work great.

What I was worried about was the fact how just unhappy the seedlings were looking. I mean the slightest watering just made them droopy as hell and with the cooler direct temps it of course takes longer to dry out. Sure they were green and growing but I WANT HAPPY PLANTS...LOL :pie:

But when I started transplanting them and see the root structure I was happy. Now the thing is how well they do in flower.

I know for sure that I can get 4 AF plants under one light and I am going to try and see if I can get 6 per light. I am sure if smaller pots were used I could but after this run is done i'll pull one of soil and one coco pot so we can see the root structure at harvest time.

If I can get one ounce per plant with 4 plants per light that is what 112 grams ? So if I can squeeze alittle more i'll hit one 1 gram per watt.

But if I can squeeze another 2 per light that should give me....168 grams or 1.33 grams per watt.

Beeing un-educated in spectrums i always though lumens were what i need to worry about. Doing some reading about LED grow lights the lumens never added up for me. They speculate they will replace respective HPS/MH lights, but the lumens never add up to even the same ballpark.

After doing some CMH reading, lumens aren't always what i look at now, BUT knowing what i do now, what i don't like about LEDs is the very specific spectrums. I preffer a wide sweeping range of spectrum not small "niche".

This thread will make my mind up, SaH can grow, so i know that his take will be from a professional stand point, and not a salesmans'/womans' standpoint. Results speak a thousand words.

Thanks for the work SaH.

I ran out of Foxfarm soil so I went ahead and put 4 into coco and i'll be using the A&B with molasses instead of boost.

I am now out of coco as well and the shop is closed until Monday and I hate leaving the seedlings in the plastic cups once they sex because now they really need that space.

Looks like I am going to have to break down and call my cousin and see if I can get a bag from him to tide me over. While I was cleaning up the coco mess and I spotted 5 more females so I need to get it quick.

Once the shelf is full i'll post pictures.

Oh and it does look like I can get 6 under one light in the end its going to see how branchy they get and I think they are going to be really branchy.
