If you can, toss a co2 monitor in the tent and watch what happens to co2 levels in a sealed enclosure with high light and lots of vegetation.
can't i'm afraid ..how fast does it (Go down)i gathered you know? ..high light is a relative term, can you be more specific? How fast does it (go down)?, in what temps? does rh% have something to do with it one way or another?

EDIT: i mistakenly wrote 'rises' at first when i was supposed to ask about co2 going down

My tents aren't totally shut when bloom lights are on
I usually have the tent door flapping open abit and having the circ fan on alll the time there is some "passive" ventilation. So my tent isn't totally sealed.
It's something to think abut for sure

It comes back up instantly with air circulation. My room will go from 1400ppm to under ambient in well under 90 minutes if the co2 is off.

Co2 is something you want to remain static with the lights on. If the levels fluctuate, the plants usually adapt to the lowest level quickly.

CO2 is carbon dioxide, the stuff animals exhale.

In a space that isn't ventilated, plants will use up the available store and then stop growing because it's a necessary basic nutrient. If you're in with the plants or if there's decent fresh air circulation, they'll get plenty.

The other option is active supplementation. Don't bother with CO2 grow bags; they don't produce enough.

People get all caught up in NPK but plants are over 95% carbon, oxygen, and hydrogen by mass.

That's good to know. i have to look into it more ..on very rare occasions m y tent is fully closed when lights are on but it's something to think about for sure

Had some sort of brain malfunction yesterday.
..i should have asked how fast co2 goes down instead i wrote how fast it 'rises'.
Funny how you're sometimes blind to your mistakes and the next day these will clearly pop out and you wonder what was i thinking when i wrote that! ha ha

In nature, there is always more than one cause and effect going on. Thanks for walking me through this.

It sounds like the effects can be finessed by not going overboard on the UV exposure late in bloom. Less is more?

An old friend of mine, RM3 to those who knew him, grew under what could be called a coffin lid of 4' florescent tubes, something like 32 of them. He carefully chose the mix of tubes for spectrum and did not change them from seedling to harvest. There was A LOT of blue and several Solacure lamps over what amounted to a 4x4 grow space.

The plants were small but extremely potent, leading me to think that the plant wins the race of secreting more of the protective resinous materials than were lost.

Funny thing; his crops did not smell like much while they were growing but again the potency was legendary.

I think this test case deserves closer scrutiny.
I followed him too. Heck even bhougt acess to his forum and got his seeds. Remember a friend trying his bud once, gave him 2 nugs of the kool Aud stuff, he got popped cause of the k9 sniffing him out on railway station, but they let him go😁🤗
RM3 did a lot of funny experiments.
Is he still in the game and doin his PLL grow? 😉
