thank you! i wasn't aware of a company building these options into their lights. but the price is exorbitant.

over 1800 dollars US.
Dimlux is RolceRoyce of light growing industry nothing new.

My friend have this led and its sick 1000w one.
It can change colour in any spectrum with cob stripes real great lights.

@greyfader, any thoughts on supplementing with neodymium lamps?
neo who? i had to look them up. but it looks like it produces a lot of blue, which may be contrary to our needs growing cannabis. i have heard of GE Reveal but didn't know about the neodymium coating.

Dimlux has always overpriced its lights. IMO there are much better at that price point.
A high quaity LED will cost about 800-1000 retail. The best quality with all the bells and whistles on the market IMO are Fohse A3i and Grandmaster Borg. These LEDS are 1500 watts with programable spectrums at $1800-2100 retail.

this is what i used. the A15 size is smaller than the standard A19 household bulb. these are appliance bulbs rated for extremes of heat and cold and are vibration-resistant

Dimlux sell a light with a near infared option.

Check out the dimlux web for the spectrum: when they say NIR what they really mean is a little bit of far red. Ive tried IR leds once, didnt really do anything comparatively to the next tray but it wasnt a lot of power. Id probably try some incandescent if i wanted to retry.

I dont think so. Bottom petioles are green and so are upper sugar leaf petioles, not exposed to direct light.
The leaf color appears light because of angle of photo. I have grown KM many times under powerful led rigs and i interpret the red/purple coloration as a response to high PPFD.

My last light was a home made cob rig, it drew ~650w using cree and vero cobs. This is a 500w 3 bar diode light. Both are high efficiency. My space is 2x4 so illumination is at the very high end. Red petiole plant response is common.

Here's a few pics showing red petioles. Triangle grape cake, NL5 both showing same coloration.

The canopy pic shows same KM fem and KM reg 10 days back. The bud shot is last KM grow.

No bug spray. I am big on foliar. Late veg, early flower I used a few foliar combos but not bug related. View attachment 18877951

The reg plant is way ahead of the fem. I think this is the fastest KM I've grown. Super nice fragrance.

Fem is bulking slowly and looking like an 80 to 100 day plant.

good morning! to what do you attribute the difference in growth rate between feminized and regular versions of this plant? do you think vigor is impaired by the feminizing process somehow?

Its to small sample to conclude anything right mybe just different phenos.
Also they probably reversed famous sativa pheno.
And in making regs its Sativa x afghan.

I'm guessing that there are multiple phenos in each line? I am friendly w folks at Serious. I'll send a couple pics over and report back on their thoughts.

The regular plant has the finest fragrance of any KM that I recall growing.

your reg photo is the most advanced KM for it's age i've ever seen. i have never grown it but have friends that have and they take theirs 100-120 days. that looks like it will finish in about 70 days. also, the flower structure is very nice and looks like you could make it yield well.

do you have a whole plant pic?
