Looking good in flowering, Theorganicguy ;)

Glad to know you are producing some seeds with your Lebanese plants  The orange and creamy smelling and tasting Lebaneses are my favorite ones regarding terpenes.

Lebanese sativa pheno (maybe?) producing the first resin and some seeds for the upcoming year
She's really bushy and has delicate sweet smells, reminds me of some orangey fruit.

Sadly, I lost the upper trunk to stem rot. She somewhen stopped living and was consequently cut. I guess she isn't used to the combination of high humidity and low temperatures. Still, the lower part of the plants is doing great and beefing up, despite the rainy weeks we just had. I managed to vape a bit of the poor victim and I'm really surprised by the uplifting and relaxing effects she shows already!

The time window usually goes up to the first half of November, a bit longer in a greenhouse. She didn't do bad at all for such a difficult climate. The next generation should be a bit more adapted to the struggles

Happy sunday, everyone!

Hi Theorganicguy,

Sorry to hear about the loss of the lebanese upper trunk, this lebanese indeed prefers hot and dry climates. But glad you managed to sucessfully harvest the lower part of the plant.
Those resinous buds look juicy :yummy: Hope they provide a nice smoke.

Btw, great job on your own ErdPurt x Kali China cross ;) Looks delicious!

Today's morning was her chop day. Unfortunately I couldn't do her justice, but I'm still honoured to have been able to get to know this exotic genetics, which allowed me to discover something more about the history of this plant. The disease is back and it has already claimed more victims. In fact, a couple colas are already dead and drying on the plant. I would like to give her a few more weeks to ripen well and finish the last reflowering, unfortunately, for next week heavy rains and temperatures close to zero are expected, so the game's not worth the candle.
The terpenes are certainly not as intense or penetrating as a modern hybrid, but it is precisely in their delicacy and simplicity that they shine: old-school orange, similar to Orange Bud but in a more scented way, with a few sweet notes of fresh hash.

greetings friends, just made an account to post specifically on this thread. Im born and raised in the middle east and we consumed a lot of the lebanese hash. It was always considered to be very mild and you quickly aquire a tolerance to it. yoou could literally trade 20 times the amount of leb blonde for afghani mazar sharif hash. But the smell and taste was always so unique it blew me away.. i was surprised to see these seeds available and from a reputable breeder so i grabbed 15 seeds.. Im nervous as i grow only indoors and have ample space and have a ton of strains going on.. little worried with the sexual stability of throwing a few in the flower room (gulp) but god damn i miss the taste and smell SO much... i wonder if theyll really hate the 1000 Watt HPS hmm....

yea in Lebanon they literally barely feed or wat er the plants.. collect them and one technique is to bash the plants against the walls with mat erial similar to potato bags then scraped it off and press.. others sieved.

Cheers friends such a great thread , i read all 30 pages .. its a pleas ure to see skilled gro wers take old world arab genetics and flourish with them!

I hope I can report great news from my indoor experiment. Will pop 5 beans and hope for the best.. m abye i can put them in a specific corner and just be SUPEr vigilant with watching them.. any nanners or pods .. you DIE

I am interested how lebanese compares to marrocan, similar latitude and from limited knowledge have similar traits as far as flowering and use for hash. of course hard to compare only hashes as leb tends to be aged if i am not mistaken.. thought would be a great place to ask from folks who have grown ;)

Rubbing wood ash can work against stemrot in a beginning fase.I did that on a Mexican years ago during a wet autumn and it helped a lot.

Hi therealherbalis! I grew these indoors under quite harsh circumstances. The flower room was full, and The lebaneses were in The back corner getting only tiny amounts of Light from two 100 watt leds. They didn't drink so much water. Even though they got far from all The love that they needed, they gave really nice flowers in The end. These seem to be very tough and hardy, and work fine indoors under suboptimal conditions.

Mine was my first grow in 39 years, I ran them 12/12 from the first day in very light soil. About two weeks into flower I found the lights (spiral CFLs,) were on in the middle of the night. Something had fell against the timer. I left the lights in for 18 and put them back on schedule. One was a green stem with cbd and the little red stem was high thc. It had a nice black pepper flavor and put me in couchlock. My face was sweaty but my mind was clear. After a couple of hours of being high I slowly felt my self winding down and was able to ease off into a sleep. The high was about four hours.
Again it was my first grow with no real humidity or temperatures controlled other than an electric heater and CFLs up close. After my tolerance built up it as not quite as intense but I still use it for a night time meds, rotating the rest of my strains so i don't build tolerance to any one. I will grow it again.

very nice yea.. thats what i was thinking put em in the corner, let em experience some drought not a sdirect light with the 1000 HPS and watch the mVERY carefully for hermies.. literally these guys in arabia water the damn field 3-4 times a year.. thats it..

thanks for sharing.. makes sense that with such little control that it went well.. they thrive in harshness :)

Some early sampling have shown a motivating and euphoric effect, combined with a muscle massage from within. The taste reminds me of citrus candy with some herbal notes. Looking forward a cured smoke report and maybe some squishing. Around 20 seeds ready for next season
