Last minute spider mites

Yeah if it's advanced, the greyish parts will just kinda mush apart when you touch them - if it's still early, then it'll look like a bunch of fine grey filaments on the bud....

hopefully it's just the color in the picture, and it's not really rot :)

Thanks I will look and see today. I will have good light so I will probe one of those spots. I will look for anything that looks grey. I absolutely cant get an infection so I am hoping that it is color. I will let you know what I find pulling it apart. THANKS!

Took the bud apart. And scoped each little bud. Not so much grey except for the remnants of spider webs. But in some little buds, the little shits were crawling and spinning at least a dozen. Tossed. In some others one or two but clusers of black egg looking stuff. Tossed. Some had a few bitters. Blew them hard, rechecked and a few were gone. Glands actually did not look bad, it fact it is a damn same because some of them were right out of the text book.
So then we jarred up the buds and will open tomorrow and look.

This was a good size chuck. I cant believe I tossed a 1/4 O of bud. But seems to be plenty more.

The other plants are going to have them. Just no way these guys dont commute. I look all over but hard to scope a living plant under lights.

Going to get to a point where if I dont see em, and the bud looks good...

We were thinking, whould a microwave blast kill the little shits (then we can just smoke their remains)

Spider mites.

sometimes if you hang the branches upside down to dry, the mites will crawl up to the top of the branches, and do their web thing. So at least a few of the little bastards will wander out on their own....

We stripped all the fans on all. cleaned up any strays we found. Scoped the plants and see one or two here or there but no build up so we are cutting our looses and harvesting tomorrow.

Already working on sealing up the floorplate and trim. Bug bomb is going to happen. Scrubbed the room the bleach and water today while moving and cleaning things. So we have done the best we can.

Wife pointed out in Jorges book that the end product of spider mites is snap crackle pop.

On another note. The ones we jarred up and put in dark cool closet. Opened up today for an hour. Scoped a few buds and not much in the way of activity. If a book I read is correct, they should stop breeding and die within 5 days. As for the rest, we will hang and see if they at least spread out. I took some final shots but will shot the actually cut up close. Thanks for your support. T5
