I’m amazed how bulky some of my flower got this year.. wondering if it was the extra top dressing with some organic flower food a couple of weeks ago..

Had had a try of the Kyphi. Gassy flavour, lovely motivating, multitasking stone. Too bad she struggles with mould.

Getting a bit excited about this Blue Dream cross from Santa Cruz Goat Farm..
Looks like indoor weed despite being outdoor. Dense nugs, good mold resistance and Big yield..

Have taken down all of the garden bar the Laos lady of Wally Ducks and a Palestinian Princess by 7East Genetics both wanting more time.

I’ve spent some time staking up these two as there’s quite a bit of rain in the forecast.

Got some photos of them without the other girls around which gives a better idea of their structure.

Although the colas on the Palestinian are massive they are quite light and airy which is maybe partly why she’s not riddled with mould.. haha

The Laos colas are slender but heavy and the most delicious juicy fruit smell..

I’m going to make an offering to the mould gods tonight and have another token on that Pitanga to easy the post harvest fatigue headache

She was a little Pitanga V2 from HD. Had 4 in all of those. I squeezed her in there because she was too pretty to cull. Got swamped by the Laos but still made some nice flower. That strain gets the thumbs up this round

this is a z99 , the last i grew , u can see where laos mango x z99 gets it pistils from , she has fatties ,

On that note I’ve been ruminating about doing a little seed run. I’ve got some S1s of that Blue Dream from Santa Cruz Goat Farm. Seems to be the legit cut.

Wondering if the Z99 would be a good option for a male..

id say so , its inbred , an f5 ,, stable variety that has traits that are beneficial in hybrids ... on it s own its a very good cultivar ..

I was surprised by how well the BD did and looked and I kinda accidentally bought the S1s a while back when I barely knew what I was doing haha
Still just making poorly informed guesses most of the time..

Would be good to combine it with something that has good mould resistance and can contribute something in the aroma department.

z99 has a great aroma , distinctive like skunk , but not the same smell as skunk , a little unique ,
mold resistance , u cant go past mango haze there ,
maybe u are setting yourself up for a bit of a journey in the future ,
hahaha ,, one many of us have done too , its a whole lot of fun and i reckon you will enjoy it as much as any of us has ...
