Dr.King I wish I had purchased Thai stick when I seen it available. The Attitude has been very good to me for several years now. For whatever reason my International orders fail. I have never had bad or poor service from them. I did purchase a 10th Anniversary box from one breeder there. When I opened the packets 90% of the seeds were light tan and came up super week and had to be culled. I ended up with 3 or so plants that were average at best. They did offer me another box from that breeder but I said keep them. Just another company pushing garbage onto the market to make a buck. Ace and Mandala can have my business from now on buying direct. Peace

Hi is there any plans on reproducing seedstock for Laos and Thai Stick? Thanks.

Luckily I got a hold of some Double Thai seeds. I really hope to get a good male and female.

I have few seeds that my friend Morfeus brought from Laos.Their growing habit looked very much the same as Ace's.It is very productive sativa that takes long to mature, but heads are nice!
Spindly, takes lot time to mature, good crop
And when you talk about it, it looks like I need to revive my old stock this summer.

What a beautiful laotian scai :) Thank you very much for share it.
It's always a pleasure to see more true tropical sativas being grown.

How are the aromas in late flowering ? And after how many weeks of flowering do you expect to harvest her ? 4 months ?

Best vibes! dubi

Hi Neighbor1234,

We haven't produced more Thai Stick seeds and Laotian seeds since 2012-2013, and we have no plans to reproduce them again in short term as we are busy with other catalogue reproductions and exploring new American and African sativa landraces (this time not from Asia).

Double Thai, Purple Haze Thai and Green Haze Thai are also out of stock and won't be reproduced soon.

There should be some packs left of all these strains through some retailers. Get them while you can because they will be the last ones!

Space,Bros. you asked for a pic. This is a bit late but I've been unable to get these onto my computer until now.

Not a good pic but the plant has started flowering numerous times but then reveges. Not sure if it is clear in the pic but the flowers consist of a couple of small calyx's. I have harvested some of the older stuff which is mostly leaf with tiny flowers. The high has some merit (lemon, a bit euphoric) , however I think it needs incredibly long flowering and curing, perhaps something like Malawi cob method?

The pot I smoked in Luang Prabang was quite obviously compressed, cured, and maybe fermented.

Anyway not regretting growing this by any means. I knew what I was getting into.

Since taking this pic a few weeks ago I've reduced the light again. Now it gets 11.25 hours per day and it looks to be now flowering properly (although incredibly slowly, and tiny flowers).

@hard rain
Thanks for posting the pic :) Looks very sparse and very nute sensitive just like a true landrace Sativa should :) Hopefully the new light schedule results in a more bountiful and potent harvest.

@Hardrain, usually when a sativa begins flower and then revegs it is not getting enough light. Not hours, but intensity. Maybe add some CFLs or something and run 11/13 light cycle and she should stick to flowering.

You could well be right about the light intensity, although I have a Malawi and Kali Mist under the same conditions and both are flowering normally.

It is starting to look more like finishing since I've reduced the light cycle.

I will probably add more light though. Thanks for your suggestion.
@eT, thanks also for your suggestion. I am pretty close to that light cycle. I may as take off the extra .25 of an hour.

So i was wondering (not looking for seeds) if anyone has crossed the Lao to the Orient Express. If so, how did it turn out? If not, any thoughts on how that cross would work?
