Honduran Seed Production

Central American Honduran from Ace had strong resin production. Aromas were consistently woody and waxy sativa-like. All plants smelled similar. Genotypes ranged widely in how much they stretch and flower structure and time. The seeds ripened fully and the plants were continuing to flower when I harvested them.

Aromas of dried flowers are woody and mango-like. Stem rubs were of melon rind very pungent. Small buds similar to the Congo. It took slightly under 4 months to get from seeds started on 11/13 to a finished seed crop.

Sorry, guys. For all the exotics, my pick is Malawi Gold. 4 hits and you are not going anywhere or doing anything for about 3 to 4 hours. Pineapple taste, and great effect.

Kinda wispy, doesn't produce alot but what you get is way beyond other strains. Next time I grow it I will focus on females, not seeds, and maybe roll up some cobs.

Good to know! I have a 12 pack of Malawi Gold from TRSC I'm planning to pop in my next grow... How does it tend to do as a pollen donor in crosses?

Felice: The Honduran went for approximately 3 months to finish.

Popey: The Ukhrul has a quick onset, very cerebral, the feeling you get waiting in line for the roller coaster, a bit anxious.

Also, I just started some Malawi Gold, Manipuri and Tashkurgan for the next seed crops.

Russian Kurgan

Russian Kurgan

Kurgan from TRSC smelled nice. Pollination occured early so there were just 24 seeds all at the nodes on the preflower calyx's. The ripe seeds fall out of the flower very easily. Mild effect.

Indian Manipuri Seed Reproduction

Manipuri from TRSC
was kept in cell trays to stunt the growth in order to handle the anticipated stretch. Aromas of dried flowers are woody and mango-like similar to the Ukhrul. Stem rubs were of melon rind similar to the Ukhrul. Slightly larger flowers than the Ukhrul. The Manipuri was transplanted into a larger pot when the seeds were approximately halfway developed. Even at such a late stage of flower the plants began to stretch uncontrollably. Fortunately the seeds developed before the stretch became unmanageable.

African Malawi Gold 2 Seed Reproduction

Malawi Gold from TRSC
was kept in cell trays for the first month of flower in order to stunt the growth to reduce stretch which was not too bad as compared to other Himalayan varieties. The Malawi had strong side branching. Live flowers smelled like grape Pez candy and chocolate. Aromas of dried flowers are herbal with a bitter toluene aroma.

Afghani Tashkurgan Seed Reproduction

Tashkurgan from TRSC
was one of my favorite Afghan varieties so far. Dark green growth during veg and dark purple in flower. Live flowers smelled like purple gummies, acai berries and gas. Dried flowers tasted a bit harsh actually, however the high hits you right in the eyes and couch locks you heavily. Now I know what the old timers were speaking about when they said how the black afghan hash used to kick their butt. I also had some finger hash from when I was de-seeding the dried flowers and it turned out dark dark black and gave me a heavy heavy stone. Great resin production.

Welcome back Land :)

What was the capacity of the tray cells? Could I have a report on smoking the Manipuri strain?

Popey: Thanks it's been a minute. The cell trays fit 50 to a tray. The Manipuri made me anxious when I vaped the flower and the flavor and smell was similar to the Ukhrul, malty, mango, herbal.

Indian Orissa Gold Seed Reproduction

Orissa Gold from @irrazinig
was a fast growing NLD type. Light green growth during veg and in flower. I started them in cell trays under 10/14 light schedule to trigger flowering. Once the males pollinated the females I transplanted them into larger 3 gallon bags which induced a surge in vegetative growth. As a result, the seeds were spread out on the re-vegetated plant and were mostly on a the axial nodes. I had to keep pruning the growth as much as I could without cutting off seeds to keep it out of the light. The seeds finished before any actual flowers developed so I don't have any notes on the resin, terpenes or high. The stem rub was of church incense and old furniture.
