The cheese candy is starting to look real dank. I sprayed it with greencure and if it can go two more weeks it should be some killer smoke. The buds are really resinious and compact. If this year wasn't looking like an Indian summer I'd be in the same boat as u with rain for a week or more straight. Ouch. I'm getting lucky right now. Suppose to be 80 this weekend!! I'm still dealing with some bud rot but the greencure helps slow it down big time :)

Have a look at the cheese candy:
hell ya bro that will be badass smoke. everone that i have spoke to that has grew it said its top shelf smoke. i will be doing 3 cheese strains next year and this will be one of them. how big does the yeild appear to be? Team microbe said its a massive yeilder and is the perfect commerical and headstash strain. ya i agree bro greencure puts a halt to it fast. im looking forward to seeing how she finishes up for u. its looking awesome right now though:tiphat:

Damn nice looking plants. And 55 pages? I have some serious reading to catch up on.

I am looking for some nice feminized seeds for next year that wont break the bank. Need plants that finish in August or the first couple weeks of September. Early flowering varieties. Anyone have a line on a seedbank that offers that, let me know.

Check out the royal canadien marijuana collective (rcmc). They have super early varieties available. High rise seeds on their site has some gorilla gold crosses.

Great job this year KY, Your hard work and determination really payed off. Between the rippers, having to transplant as well as the normal stuff mother nature throws at us, you keep your head high and soldiered on. It was fun watching the show.
The really hard work is just beginning tho, trying to narrow done the strains for next year.
Peace GG

thanks alot brother! yea it was a hell of year for sure. i learned some new things though like being able to transplant flowering plants and they live. i would rather not do it but at least we all know now that it can be done. ive already wrote down 22 different strains which i gotta narrow down to like 7-8 different ones for next year. 6 for sure strains will be dela, biddy,Incredible bulk, bangi haze, blueberry headband and blue widow. i was thinking of some Kc brains gear as well but still undecided on that lol a few other that i gotta pick is pineapple chunk,kc33,ledo uno, super lemon haze, swiss cheese and cheese candy. i like buying the breeders packs but if i chop some the latter strains down to single seeds i could fit them all in..to many awesome strains and not enuff room to grow them all. i been reading alot of posts from moondawg and DS Toker which both are from my area say that pineapple chunk,kc33,spotnica and blue hasplant all do very well in this area..i wish i could grow like 100 plants lol 25 is my limit. it takes forever to go and water bc this year im only gonna be doing 1-2 plants per plot with alot of them being singles. anyways thanks alot bro! i have everthing hanging in the shed and will get some cured pics up once its all ready.

It's been a great year folks compared to last year.. I got all my plants in now!! whooo hooo no more worrying about rippers...We couldn't have had a worse ending to October. The last 8 days it's did nothing but rain and overcast skies. I wanted to let my delas go till around the 7th of October but Mother Nature wasn't gonna have it lol. I think I'm close to hitting my goal this year of 5 pounds. What I got laying on the screen ready a for long term storage and in the blue box is 35 oz which is 3 oz shy of 2 pounds. What I have hanging I would say is 3 pounds dry at least. I will post the total yeild once everything is totally dry. I'd say I lost around a half pound to mould..the pic of mold is from the organic dela... I should have pulled everything last Thursday when I knew the rain was coming but I didn't and it cost me. Oh well another mistake that I won't repeat next year. The biddy, church, incredible bulk, purple maroc and blueberry headband had zero mold on it. The only plants that had alot of mold was organic dela, organic jacky white and dela #1 at plot 5. the others had very small amounts here and there but not more then 5% id say.. I think the reason the delas molded was due to snails or caterpillars. I found both these fkers on my delas when I went to chop them. I had a lot worse weather last year and they didn't mold so that has to be the only reason I can come up. Next year I will be using chemical slug bait and converse Sc to spray my plants with. The converse sc is like 5-6% spinosad so that should knock any bugs/cats out. I'm gonna be using actinovate, serenade, converse, and BT spray starting when I first see hairs on the plants.

ky i hit my plants with azamax once when the flower started and once a week later that was icing on the cake because i seen no more caterpillars after that. good stuff the azamax is and it can be used for root knats as well as a spray at 1 oz per gallon. by the look in your last pic i would say that is due to a cat.

peace

ya bro im gonna get some azamax. i even thought about azsol. i have 1 pint of neem oil and 1 pint of karanja oil left. i will use these in veg and then after i run out of neem im gonna only use karanja oil mixed with azamax. i hate the smell of neem oil! the karanja oil smells lovely. ya i think it was CATs as well but i did find a few those fkn little snails right on top the buds so im gonna make sure i defend for both these. thanks for the advice bro

hey hicky! the blueberry headband is really dank stuff. its smells just like blueberry muffins that the ole lady cooks early in the AM before she heads to work. ive smoked a bowl of the quick dry and it laid me down lol defo some strong smoke! i really like the Ibulk there wasnt a bud on that plant that i didnt use. im surprised there wasnt even no popcorn buds on mine that went to waste. i did take the tops about 5 days before i chopped the rest so that may of helped but the buds really swell up fast on it. i neglected it in veg bc it was lanky as hell looking with match stem limbs. i didnt think it was gonna do shit but once it started flowering it exploded and thickened up everthing. if i hadnt had to dig it up and transplant it in mid flower i think it would have been totally done flowering by 3rd week in sept. everthing that the breeder said this plant did it so its defo going to one the better plots next year and gonna treat her alot better in veg to see what i can get out her. what lat are u bro? i highly rec both the I-bulk from Dr.krippling and Blueberry headband from Emerald Triangle. im also gonna buy 1 seed from HSO and try their blueberry headband along side ET Bbhb and see what the difference is.i bet both would grow huge for u in those swamp tubes and both have very good mold & PM resistance. i do a proper smoke report after a month of so cured

Hey ky! Congrats on your harvest I'm deeply glad that you came out well in the long run with everything. Looks like you'll have enough to last you for a good while.

So far I've harvest about 2 and a half lb of some killer buds myself and still have the majority of it out there. Some going into november. I bit the bullet and let mine ride out this hurricane aftermath and did lose a little to mold but not much at all.

I wanted to tell you to make sure and put Kolossus on your list for next year. It has to be very mold resistant. It has sat for 7 days in continuous cold rain and almost laying on the ground. It has some of the frostiest rock hard buds I've had all year and definitely some of the dankest smelling. You. Couldn't get it to mold if u wanted to bro.

Again congrats on your reapings this year! Check my thread later for pics of the Kolossus.

My approach to rain has been to harvest before it by growing auto influenced photos but because of this thread I'm starting to realize another approach. I'm starting to realize that certain varieties can grow in rainy or high humidity situations quite well. I see it comes down to mold resistant strain selection......

Also I'm realizing how pm and bud rot are related and can be mostly prevented with organic fungicides during flowering, like greencure.

Now I'm going to have to try both kinds of varieties in conjunction with organic fungicides and see what works best for my situation. Thanks for all the information!!

is Kolossus from S.a.n.n.i.e? gemeni genetics also told me his jack herer was the shit and wont mold. i contacted s.a.n.n.i.e and he confirmed that it would take longer to flower then the heribei but it is also indeed very mold resistant. congrats bro on a great harvest so far as well. next time u go out there post some pics here in my thread. i have been opening and closing jars it seems non stop lol

hey big dank happy to know that u learned u can grow alot stronger strains then the auto influenced strains. strain choice is where alot of growers go wrong, even myself have done this. once u find the strains that work for ur area then u will tend to stick with those or at least i have lol i also like to try a few new strains each year as well just to see if i can find something else as well..i like having a nice variety. greencure works really well and it will kill mold spores on contact and stop bud rot in its tracks. im looking forward to seeing how that cheese candy turns out bc i been wanting to run that strain for a while now but just never pulled the trigger on it. i didnt know anyone that had run that strain till team microbe told me about it and now u are growing it and it looks great so far. the S6 i think would be a good strain for u as well. u see 2heads pics of it? hes at lat 44 and harvested full ripe plants in the swamp of some dank looking smoke.

Nah didn't see 2heads pics. Where are they?
Serious sent me 6 more of the S6 and after talking with Simon and then seeing 2heads buds again im gonna give it another shot. i think they would totally be done flowering by sept1 for me at 37.5n lat.

i'll post the yeilds from all my plants after the last 5 are dry and ready for the jar. the biggest yeilder this year excluding the Dela's is the churchs. this strain really has potential for me and great for the commerical market here. 25$ for 2 grams all day

So no leaf spot this year by the looks of it?

Congrats on harvest kyg! Been busy and trying to catch up on sleep. I'll be back around later. See you wish you would have cropped earlier, and I was kind of kicking myself for not letting them go longer. I don't like seeing mold. It makes it hard to smoke... :smoke:

Sounds like you found a mold resistant one, mountiain buds! Keep an eye on that one though, mold could start to pop up soon.

I want to try some blueberry headband now.... Who wouldn't?

Thats funny the incredible bulk was so thin early on. Cannabis is good at coming back strong...

Hope next year has an easier flowering season.... You got pretty good yields it looks like! Glad the mold wasn't any worse:smoke:

i had 3 but one didnt make it due to rippers but the biggest one i had i got just over 8oz off it..the 2nd church is still hanging drying so the final weight will be a few days..i even pulled the biggest one about 10 days to early due to the rippers. i think this strain is easy capable of 1lb+ easy. im for sure running it again next year as long as it sales good lol no leaf spot this year bc as soon as i seen it it coming i hit the plants in early veg with eagle 20 and that took care of it.
