Kyg's Outdoor Trichapalooza

Still at large...
Very nice thread Kyg, great info. as well:tiphat:
Trying to my best and read through it and catch up.
Great selection too!
Gonna take a seat and see how it all turns out:biggrin:
Might even have to take your lead and get behind the ball on mold prevention, I have had great luck in the past with just leaving it up to the plants to do the work... firm believer in healthy plants being up to the task, but now thinking why not stack the deck and be proactive on my end lol.
Sending good luck and karma your way :dance013:

hey bro thanks and welcome. i also believe that healthy plants will not be affected at all. Last year i didnt take any precaution at all bc i got cocky from the 2013 success i had with alot of indoor strains like kush, chemdog and diesel. i tried alot of the same strains in 2014 and using shitty soil and nutes and i got raped. only my delahaze was the only plant that didnt get a spec of mold on it. so this year has been nothing but growing the healthiest plants possible and using the plants own immume system to do that with SAR inducers. i also figured since i could use biofungicides to make more bud sites, more trichs and overall better product in the process is a win/win.

Plants are getting big now! I've been having trouble with disease lately. Resistance is worth a lot for the organic cannabis grower. After growing seed for a couple years, if you do a good job selecting the top performers each season, a strain should develop some level of resistance. This has been a wet humid season here!

Biddy is making my mouth water. Bet she is starting to smell good! Need to get my early flowering strains going next year..

Thanks for sharing Ky!

yea bro the plants that i have in living soil arent affected at all nor have they caught any disease at all. after this year i will be switching everthing over to organic living soil. its just alot easier now that i know what im doing. i dont have to hike out to the spot and feed nothing and so far i dont have to worry about any sort of disease. this my first year trying anything organic and i honestly didnt think it would work. i thought there is no way in hell those plants will even grow without giving nutes lol. i didnt understand the process till i read "Teaming with microbes". i dont mind losing a bit of yeild to bump up the quality. thanks for dropping in bro

Hey guys went to plot 2 today so I can start my prevention sprays for bud rot. Everything I have now is in flower except the church at it 2.I mixed up some Sns244c,regalia, aloe and insect frass for the chitosan. Everything is looking good. I think the biddy will be my biggest yeilder at this plot. It's 9 foot 3 inches tall right now and it has limbs all over it just what I like to see. The church is fighting leaf septoria right now so I'm not sure how well it's gonna do. I hit it with liquid copper 3 days ago and so far I think it's under control. I have immunox on stand by just in case I have to use it I will. The sweet purple is coming along nicely as well now. It's bushing out just like I FIM and train it to. Well guys I'm in what I call the gauntlet for the next 75 days. This is when i learn the most about what I have did right and did wrong and if my preparation is gonna pay off. Temps are perfect for cannabis here right now 91f with 65% humidity out. I'm gonna keep a close eye on everything now and try to nip it in the bud before it comes a major issue if possible. Pics 1-2 is the biddy. Pics 3-4 is the church and pic 5 is the sweet purple!

If the sns244c doesn't do it, I'd keep that Immunox on hand. It'll at the very least shut that shit's progress down.

That Biddy Early looks nice! What's your in-depth opinion on that strain?

so far im loving the biddy it will be totally done flowering between 15-21 of sept. it looks like its gonna be a damn good yeilder. the 3rd biddy i had but died in the wind storm was gonna be the same as the one at plot#2. the one at plot#1 is a faster pheno but it dont appear at this point that its gonna be a huge yeilder so far. this is my first year growing the biddy but all the research i have did on it everone says its a damn good outdoor guerilla strain and very potent. i havent had one bit of trouble of them so yet so all in all as of now i would say its a good strain to have. since u like to have ur strains out by oct 1 i think this would be a good one to add to ur tool box. i was reading up on dinafems blue widow last nite as well and everone i spoke to on this fourm and others say the same thing. its a monster yeilder, very mold resistant, potent and 2nd to 3rd week of sept totally done flowering,so that could be another that u may want to have.
i know the Sns244 wont take care of the leaf spot i have but the point in using it and karanja oil is to keep the spores on the leaf surface covered up so they cant germinate and spread as bad. i can tell the liquid copper has stopped the spread of it right now on my church but im gonna hit it with a dose of the immunox tomorrow just to be on the safe side bc it will start flowering soon. i really didnt expect the Dela's and critical super silver haze to already start flowering so excited about that, but what im more excited about is i got 5 dela's this year and not just 1-2 like last year and the year before, so i know if i make it by with all 5 i will at least 60 ounces of it possibly more then that bc these Delas this year are the biggest i have ever grown at this stage in the game. idk if its bc im not using miracle gro soil and nutes and am using the proper things that cannabis needs to survive or what it is but all the years before this they never ever got over 6.5 foot and was still great yeilders

oh ya bro im for sure getting the Malawi from ace. it says harvest november but im 99% sure it will be done by middle of oct. the delahaze says on its flowering time november but its totally done by 7-10th of oct. i dont wait for ambers on haze or sativas. i look for all milky and maybe 2-3% amber. i think once its in the jars it will amber up a bit more anyways, plus i get sativas for a reason i dont like the indica buzz to often bc all it does is knock my dick in the dirt and makes me eat everthing in the house then zzzzzzzzzzzz lol im looking forward to how all ur Ace gear finish's up im sure it will be awesome smoke!!:dance013:

ya it looks amazing so far! u have did a great job with how healthy they look. i wish i would have got that Malawi this year to be honest. everone that i talked to that grew it have said its a huge yeilder, most potent plant they ever smoked and it just laughs at bud rot. i think next year will just be running 4-5 strains for my personal & insurance strains...99.9% sure i already know what it will be. delahaze, jacky white, malawi, super lemon haze and cheese candy. i cant wait to run the super lemon haze in living soil. its in my top 3 smokes of all time right now and i can only imagine how its gonna taste with organic soil. the last time i grew it was in miracle gro soil and it still had a damn nice lemon scent to it..for my commerical it will be biddy, church, swiss cheese, frencheese and freeze cheese 89. everyone likes skunk around here and if u get some shit that has the skunk smell it dont last long.

Hey guys it's that time of year that I love the most FLOWERING TIME!!! I went to the organic plot this evening. I'm really amazed at how well this plot is doing with me only providing water and nothing more! These 3 plants have the most healthy leaves on them. There is no sign of any disease on these at all. Leaf septoria no problem for these healthy bitches. I can't wait to taste the smoke from my first ever organic grow! The jacky is gonna be a monster yeilder! I think this strain is gonna come close to being my biggest yeilder ever, but I gotta wait and see how the buds fill in. I'm just assuming this from looking at the flowering sites which rivals my lovely dela's. The Jw and BbHb both are showing pre flowers as well. Anyways guys here's the pics. The first and second one is the Dela. The 3rd and 4th is the jacky and last one is the blueberry headband.

Damn that Jack looks good.

its got so many limbs on it im kinda worried they wont be enuff air flow getting in the middle. im gonna have 8 top colas out this bitch! FIM and supercrop is defo the way forward for me from here on out. i use to think topping was the best way but not after what im seeing. So paradise says 60 days of flowering for the Jw that will put her out by end of sept. i dont wait for amber trichs i do 100% milky and a few amber and they are out the ground. i waited one year to get 50.50 trichs and i got ripped out that plot bc of it so i said never again will that happen to me.
