Plot 2 has started to take off nicely as well now. As u can see I super cropped the. Church there. It's started to heal it's self now. In another week I'm sure it will be standing straight back up. Pic 2 is my 2nd biddy which is still in beg and not started to flower yet. This one I think it's gonna be a nice size plant & yield by looking at the structure on the plant. It's about 7.5 foot tall now as well. Last pic is my sweet purple. I FIM the shit out this one doing some experiments on it
Lol it's really bushy right now but isn't no taller then 3-4 foot. It's one my smallest plants so far but I suspect that will change once she starts to flower. I'm not gonna be doing nothing else to her just let her do what she does best now.

Things are shaping up nicely for you this season Ky. All your hard work is showing. How many daylight hrs. do you have right now? Shame the S6 never kicked back in to full veg mode. Whats your favorite strain so far this season?
Stay safe my friend

How do you like the Church? I began thinking about strains for next season today.

Definitely running:
Special Queen #1 (Royal Queen Seeds)
Royal Kush #1(Royal Queen Seeds)
Mango (KC Brains) (Mango has a 6 week flowering phenotype that I'm looking for)

Potentially Running:
Green Poison Fast Version (most likely, in order to have an early harvest and carry it out in stages)
Church
Pineapple Chunk (it never really got a shot this year)
Maple Leaf Indica
Spontanica (depending on how it finishes this year)

Youve got such a happy garden there despite the abundance of rain. Hope the sun pops out for you in the next couple months. :) Looking forward to seeing them bulk up for ya. :ying:

I'm not too, too far north of Ky and August is supposed to be a SUNNY month for us. Peeps have been complaining about the weather on the east coast, but in retrospect I think it will be good. Sure, lots of rain early, but plenty of sun (supposedly) to come during the biggest growth period.

im loving the church so far. the church at plot5 id say is the biggest plant i got right now,but the real test comes in once it shows its mold resistance. i do like u i like to carry my plants out in stages. it would be to overwhelming to have everthing come in at the same time.

Has anyone had any experience with sunleaves liquid bat guano? does it work as well as the dry powder fert?

I've used the dry in the past with top dressing and soil mixes but never the liquid. I remember looking at the liquid products and not buying them because of cost and application rates. They recommend rates of 1-2 Tablespoons of the liquid depending on growth phase and which type of guano. Just seems like there are better options out there but don't have a real complaint against using guano.

ya i agree i already have the high P indonesian bat guano that im gonna top dress with along with insect frass and Ewc. i was thinking of just getting the bat guano liquid so i can use it as part of my folair each week. right now im using 1/4tsp of ful-power,1tbs of neptune harvest liquid seaweed,1tbs of worm power liquid extract and protekt. i was thinking i could use the liquid to add a bit more diversity to my sprays and for a little extra N for start of flowering. im not real keen on thinking high P does all the work in early flower. i think high N is also used alot for the first 2-3 weeks. i am prolly overthinking the organic thing since its my first year growing with living soil. i keep thinking that there might not be enuff nutes left in the soil lol

I think you are overthinking it, no offense. It's easy to overthink and overlove your plants. I know I've been guilty of it in the past and will be guilty again in the future no doubt. Remember K.I.S.S. for organics. You just provide all the organic goodies and let the microherd handle the rest. If you have the powder form then why not add it to some water and *poof*, liquid bat guano solution. I think you are also correct in that Nitrogen is underestimated for early flower. Personally, I have had just about every grow exhibit N deficiency symptoms earlier than I would have liked to see. I would keep getting after it with the veg formula at the same doses until maybe 3rd week in flower and then transition over to flower formula over a 2 week period. I would continue to use some N rather than just completely removing it from the equation and relying solely on P. Of course that's just my observations, food for thought.

I've wondered for weeks what your name meant and how you even pronounce it. Would you mind a brief explanation as well as a phonetic breakdown for enquiring minds?

Thanks boss

ya i agree bro im not gonna add nothing more. i have a pretty good living soil mix. its just hard to think organic growing when im use to chemical lol i also have in the past switched to flowering nutes to soon and always got a N def around 4th week or so. this is my soil mix this year and also the top dressing kit i have sitting here that im gonna spread out on 3 plants.
1/2 Part Worm Power

1/2 Part Oly Mountain Fish Compost

1 Part Sphagnum Peat Moss

2/3 Part Pumice

1/3 Part Rice Hulls

5% Pre-Charged Colorado Bio Char!!

Nutrients included in the soil:
Acadian Kelp Meal @ 1/2 Cup per cubic foot

Neem Cake @ 1/2 cup per cubic foot

Crustacean Meal @ 1/2 cup per cubic foot

Brix Blend Basalt @ 2 Cups Per Cubic Foot

Gypsum Dust @ 1 Cup Per Cubic Foot

Oyster Flour @ 1 Cup Per Cubic Foot

And this is my topdress kit that i have that i will be adding in a week or so before the beginning of flower. its 60 cups of this mix:
Worm Castings 50%

Compost 50%

Comfrey Leaf (Home Grown By Jeremy Silva)

Kelp Meal

Neem Cake (Just Enough for some pest control)

Bat guano(0.5-12-0.2)

Gypsum

My screenname is named after the kentucky derby horse winner in 2004 or 2005. it was a 50-1 long shot that was never suppose to win anything and i had money on this horse,so i figured since this screenname was very easy to remember for me and no one on any forum had this it was easy to use same screen names on all my accounts with same password. the horse that won was named "Giacomo" so i added KY for the state im in. thanks bro for all the good advice i apprecaite it

Yeah man, organics for the win! I've never owned a ppm/TDS/EC meter or pH pen. Never cared, never had to care. I'm not hear to preach though or naysay other growing methods by any means either. If you have a system and style that works for you, rock that shit out. Just don't use any of those gnarly pesticides/insecticides/fungicides. Thanks for the name explanation too. Like I said I've been wondering about that for weeks now. :tiphat:

i have never owned a ppm/tds/ec pen either lol i use to use oscomote ferts and eay early on used miracle grow and still never PH nothing. i never noticed anything that caused me any concern..this plant was grown with oscomote with bloom booster from greenlight it was 12-55-6 i got just under 15 oz from it. i only got 4 plants in living soil this year bc i wasnt planning on growing nothing organic till i started reading "teaming with microbes" book online. the more i read the more i wanted to convert but i had already spent some loot to get ferts that i couldnt take back so i just stuck with my orginal plan but added 1 addition plot with 4 plants to living soil..right now at this stage my plants are bigger and just overall look alot more healthier then the ones that is not in this mix. the stalks of the plants are also alot fatter then the ones that is not,but i will wait till everthing is chopped and cured before i decide which approach that i will go at for 2016. As of right now i will be 100% converted to living soil plots if things keep going like they are. here in my area im pretty sure everone either use miracle grow or oscomote so i cant wait to see how this organic bud does even if i get a smaller yeild i will be able to make it back in quality with higher price im thinking. idk if anyone here has even smoked orgnaic weed or if they even know what a indica or sativa is. all everone here wants is something that will fkk them up and all weed here is called skunk, tha funk or the kill..it dont matter what kind it is if its a hybrid, sativa or indica those are the names if the stuff is good weed. thats the advantage of being in a illegal state with a very small population in my town. i think the last time they counted the peeps here it was just under 1,000 peeps in my town

i also went to plot5 today as well. it was time for their fert. i also hit the organic plot with Regalia and vitazyme. i can sure tell that the vitazyme is working great. i have never had plants this size at this time, last year. im pretty sure its due to the vitazyme, insect frass and aloe which i didnt know about last year, anyways heres the pics. also u can see what the top dress kit looks like from BAS. i love the smell and feel of this wonderful living top dress kit. heres the pics. pic1-2 is the church, pic 3 is the delahaze, pic 4 is the stalk on the Dela and pick 5 is what the top dress looks looks like from BAS. its got a great such a wonderful smalll to it. i hope u guys enjoy them as much as i have.

has anyone tried Ogbiowar for folair to help prevent mold? i have actinovate this year but from what i was reading on Ogbio is that it has the same spore in it as actinovate plus like 15 or 20 more that all feed on the bud rot fungi spore

I haven't but was curious about this as well. If you have some on hand give it a whirl and let us know how it turns out? I don't think it would hurt anything.

ya im gonna try it out. i got the 4oz size for like 24$. i seen what his folair pack did to a guys root aphid infestation. it destroyed their ass,i spoke with Cap and he said the root pack is the best one for bud rot prevention. its got like 6 different strains of bacteria that feeds on the bud rot spore. i will keep everone posted on how she does once the buds get fat enuff to use it around week 4 or so of flower.
