Hello ICMAG community, news from my KA5H, it's been thirteen and a half weeks since the pistils

As you can see, I have a bunch of white pistils at the bottom, I started the flush three weeks ago now, do you think it will be able to mature this? I added some potting soil on top out of fear...I would like her to finish it all!
Ask your questions.

So it looks like half pound was a good guess! Jarred up at 216 grams. Plus a couple that went flying . And its possibly a little too dry. Smoked a one of the stray pieces. Im definitely feeling it. So it is potent. But, I'm pretty unimpressed at this point. Idk how much can be said from that, since it is just dried.

Im not sure that Im going to keep the clone.

I picked off an early sample
IMG_20240419_152111.jpg

I only took some from this lower bud site....

Also should I keep using the same amount of Monster Bloom for the rest of the plant? If I have till May? Flushing no flushing?

Day 47 in the flowering stage.

KA5H is finally strarting to put on a bit of weight. Her smell is also getting more intense. Really floral and quite incensey too.

Also, I'm confident its a NL#5 x Haze dominant phenotype. The plant is too leafy and bushy to be pure haze leaning. Also, the structure isn't similar to the Malawi's nor is the aroma (Malawi aroma is really oily, like pungent sesame oil).

I'm really happy with her so far.

So I had my early sample early, it was tinier than a nug, but it got me high and tripping, I noticed that it was racy, and I kept thinking to myself that obviously this is why I'm trying an early smoke sample, it was highly functional though, but got me to analyze everything around me and everything ever, it's like a rush of enhanced IQ I loved that about but it but it could be terrifying if in the wrong situation, I also remember how I got sneak peaks into what the next highs, or dimensions would be like once it becomes more potent and psychedelic, which it was but still underdeveloped at times and early.... But like I already said it was barley even a nug, and if I had smoked a gram of that this early then yeah I'd have been tripping down a nightmare lane of raciness trancendance last night 🤩 So yeah it was trippy but I wanted more.... I basically only took off one of the lowest weakest buds, I only picked off a very tiny bit.... I can tell that if I keep this going longer than that dimension/realm will continue to evolve in deeper depths of uncharted waters, it's so awesome that I bought this 🤩 it's still very early though, blame that on the stupid payment delays I had in January.... But no sweat.... Thanks Dubi.... I hope though that I'll be able to keep this plant blooming....

So, I think I got the "rotting flesh" pheno. But I thought that was golden tiger. I had a couple little nugs go flying and got the floor as I trimmed. I didn't want to put them in with the rest, so I set them aside. After 2 or 3 days, I open it up and finally smell it. Then I was concerned that I've been smelling like that for the last month and that's why I can't smell it.

So yeah, this stuff is hard, semi dense. Just breaking a little piece into the bowl had my fingers tacky. As expected though, flavor is undeveloped. Much better than the first piece I sampled. But man the smell. I opened it up and it was sharp, pungent. Rude. Ace uses that to describe Malawi. Yeah it was just rude. Then later that day, I realized it smells like brisket that expired yesterday. One more piece of tester nug, but I'm not touching the stuff that didn't hit the floor until it's cured. I have plenty of weed anyway.

You should not worry too much about the possibility of it being a NL5 x Haze pheno.

NL#5 x Haze is a really mythic plant and a lot of specialists consider it to be the best haze hybrid or even the best strain ever created.

Its known for its potent psychedelic high of long duration.

Best legal weed I had in Canada probably was NL5 x Haze from the Broken Coast company. It was only listed at 18% thc (average nowadays is getting close to 25% on the legal market) but a shared 0.5 joint gave me a little panick attack 😅 (positive in a sens for me). I could not feel the weight of my body anymore, like if I was levitating or something. The world aroud me felt so distant, like in a dream, and people heads looked inflated like baloons.

Even tough its a strong high that eventually gets you burned out, a good NL5 x Haze gets you on a real adventure.
No at the time I meant that I was afraid of a Pure NL pheno, which apparently was just a paranoia thought at the time ... NL5 x Haze pheno sounds great actually and is completely perfect for me.... My concern was something entirely different then that but I wrote my comment which was like a week before my early smoke sample ... Despite that it was hella racy early it still didn't dissapoint by the way.... But even during that high I remember how much planning I had to do to somehow delay my travel, I hope it works.... Maybe by just a few days though.... Anymore than that I won't be able to delay it .....

I’ve never had Malawi have rotten meat smells, or any meat smells, the Malawi phenos with Rudeness is generally oily, motor oil, castor oil, kinda thing. Must be coming from somewhere else?

I posted this on my thread as well but wanted to share it here!

Harvest pics of my KA5! It’s a great plant! Really really like this one! I feel it’s a very Columbian pheno! I really like the light popcorn structure of the buds, already burns so good in a joint! It’s a sweet tasty light smoke that makes clouds, it’s feel good happy stuff that’s kinda up but I wouldn’t say cerebral! Not racey, not paranoid, no dirty feelings or bad come down. My buddy called me today who I gave some samples too and he said “This is the One”! I will come back and update a smoke report with a little more time in the jar if it last that long!

Yeah, I think it comes from the Thai. Idk, when I smelled it rude was the thought that came to mind. I know Malawi is not meaty. Actually, I think I have a good idea of the Malawi smell. #2 smells very much like the Malawi x Panama I aborted at 4 weeks.

Which brings me to this
KA5H after 1 week on 11/13

I'm assuming, based on that familiar smell that it will be either malawi/Haze or (gasp...) the silver Malawi. Time will tell, I know it's still early. But I do know it's very different from the first.

Hi @Nextgeneration73

If I remember correctly you have your KA5H in a fabric pot ? I'm wondering why you would then place it in a plastic pot rather than on a flat, or semi-open-aired tray ? It kinda defeats the purpose of growing in a fabric pot, and I'm a little suspicious that it's the source of your leaf color issues, due to high humidity and still-air in the surrounding area, between the fabric and the plastic. Anyway, I wish you good luck with the remainder of the grow.

Peace
