My girls at day 35 in the flowering cycle. Stretch is pretty much over. Killer A5 Haze is the one the middle. She's developping slowly but surely !

KA5H #2 at Day 15 of 11hrs 58mins on/12hrs 02mins off, following 59 day veg.

Canopy is near enough to 3ft x 3ft in area.

This is my first ever grow from feminized seed and also the first time I've flowered a single plant indoors.

I have taken clones of all 3 KA5H plants I had originally (photos earlier in the thread) but the Haze A pheno #1 is proving to be very difficult to copy. I'm now on the third batch of cuttings from her, after all cuts from the first and second batches fell over to some form of stem rot. Which is a bit strange, cuttings from #2 and #3 are not being affected despite being in the same clone box.

Peace

That Panama is building nicely you have got a good pheno.
She's a special girl indeed. Crazy vigour, great structure, early flowering onset on 12/12 plus she's been pungent since day one. As the days goes by in the flowering stage, her aroma is evolving more and more through a loud lemony incensy one.

My Killer A5 Haze is more of a late bloomer and she haven't reveal all her expression and phenotypic expression yet. She barely finished stretching after 5 weeks on 12/12.

Day 85
At this point all the leaves are dying off, but she has exploded with yet another round of flowering. I'm looking at around 50% white pistils, and these are looking pretty clear. And must be pretty large to see so clearly with only 10x magnification? Everybody else is talking about 30,5,100x. Idk, but they used to not look much different than the stalks.

The seed info says 90 days, so? I guess Saturday. Idk, I'll be monitoring it. I had a major temperature spike yesterday, the thermo was reading over 100 degrees. All the vegging plants seem to have loved it.

But I saw another thread dubi says high day/ low night swings can cause excessive reflowering with tropical varieties. My typical swing has been around 16-18 night, and 30-33 day.

They seem to really like the heat, so I'm not trying very hard to keep it of down, but when the sun is down and lights are off in the wee hours of the morning, it gets pretty chilly. For now. Soon I'll have to fix my ventilation to keep it under control during the day, with more moderate nights.

The last pic I had to zoom in through taking a screen shot but I forgot to get rid of the share edit lens buttons, no big deal though....

Coloration is looking much better in these pics here, where the photos are taken in natural light. Maybe the LED light was making the plant appear locked out.

Keep at it, you’re halfway there! 🤘🤘

I agree, the LED does make it look more pale than it is, but also the leaves are in much better color now, the yellow leaves below on the bottom are still yellow though..... That happened back during a period where I only sprayed the top soil and not the soil in the bucket, then I checked the bottom roots and found bone dry soil that had never been watered at all for weeks where many roots had already been, but I changed that ... It's not wet down there until I let it dry out, and I pour water both in the bucket of soil and on top where the first soil was, roots have been drinking and I can even feel that it's energy feels more alive, because before I almost got the feeling that something didn't feel right even when just standing nearby, maybe also due to the pollution we had then, since all my windows are kept open, right now all the air outside is more cleaner than ever and hella fresh, could be that too....
But what pheno is mine? Northern lights is definitely not the right answer so that's off the list 😁 😀 (Meaning I don't accept it as an answer 😀 😁) Edit: that was a joke....

@Nextgeneration73

You should not worry too much about the possibility of it being a NL5 x Haze pheno.

NL#5 x Haze is a really mythic plant and a lot of specialists consider it to be the best haze hybrid or even the best strain ever created.

Its known for its potent psychedelic high of long duration.

Best legal weed I had in Canada probably was NL5 x Haze from the Broken Coast company. It was only listed at 18% thc (average nowadays is getting close to 25% on the legal market) but a shared 0.5 joint gave me a little panick attack 😅 (positive in a sens for me). I could not feel the weight of my body anymore, like if I was levitating or something. The world aroud me felt so distant, like in a dream, and people heads looked inflated like baloons.

Even tough its a strong high that eventually gets you burned out, a good NL5 x Haze gets you on a real adventure.

That's awesome 🤩, I was hoping that it's a Haze A leaning that's what I meant and not NL being too present... I heard a guy getting a stinky NL pheno from this thread saying it was very addictive and that he loved it... But I'm obviously looking for the psychedelic dreamy heavenly effects.... I don't want to offend anyone (I don't mean you) about the NL since I know lot's of people out there love Northern lights and the name sounds great, but then again this is a mix of three strains Haze A NL and Killer Malawi so it'd be unrealistic to worry about that.... What about the trichomes though?

I asked this same question on my thread and everyone joked around for asking, I don't blame them because I probably would've done the same if I was a long time cultivator and a newbie asked this question 😆 but what stage does my plant seem like? 🤔 If these are considered four stages of flowering....
My pheno is definitely not stinky at all by the way...
Is taking an early sample detrimental to the plant development or the speed of bloom? I had the idea about having one too early sample and one early but near ripeness on the lowest buds sites, I personally don't really want to take up it's yeild though, better save it all. But still...

Roots from my Haze A pheno (#1) removed from tent to make room for #2 - Day 16 of flip following 59 day veg, hand watered in 3ltr plastic pot with medium of coco-perlite.

The hose and tap in pic are part of a test setup. I will be switching #2 to auto feed in coming days.

Won't it be a little bit too norcotic if kept on going much longer? Edit: I was referring towards yours ... Or does it become even more psychoactive that way on this strain? Just asking though, because I see a lot of people waiting until it's all Amber from everywhere?

I'm really hoping I got a good NL leaning pheno in my pack.

Mine didn't have much smell until this last week. Even still is pretty mild.

You MIGHT be at the first stage there. The one with the big red X. Probably not even that far.

Supposedly it becomes narcotic when over ripe. I'm not looking for all amber. I'm looking for some amber.

Amber means degrading thc. So we look for that to signify that it's passing its peak, that it's not getting better.

I'm pretty sure mine still look like your second picture. That's why I'm looking for amber, personally. Idk if I'm looking at white or clear. Brown, on the other hand will be obvious. So I'm looking for that. I but my last plant too early and I'm pissed.

You just wanna f---k it up dont you?
Here is an answer you might like then.
It will be ready to harvest next week it will be perfect for making rope joints ha ha.
Dude you really are getting a bit tiresome asking the same question every day hoping someone will give you the green light.
I'm out of here.
How does mine look? You think it's ready yet?

So this will be my second grow of Killer A5H and I think they came through the soil march 7 th. They looked to me to be very small plants and stout in appearance and had me worried. I repotted them last week into their fabric pots in a custom super soil blend from a soil dealer. They seemed to take off almost the next day. The soil is a hot combo of worm castings composted manure and various additives. My question do you find these KA5H need nutrients very early?

@Nextgeneration73

This is the plant I've been showing, on February 3rd. It looks about a week behind where you currently are. Yours are "late bloomers" as you say, because you started 12/12 after only 2 weeks. You can accelerate, but three plant must reach sexual maturity before blooming.

For any wondering, I anticipated another week or 2 of stretch, and thinned it accordingly just after this. I should have let it alone. 1 reason I am assured the next one will be way better.

KA5H #2 at Day 15 of 11hrs 58mins on/12hrs 02mins off, following 59 day veg.

I almost forgot to respond to this. This is absolutely beautiful. You're doing the same as me, it seems.

Obviously, you have done a better job at it- but same goal. #2 will be closer.

Being used to grow hybrids, I found the opposite. Plants were more nitrogen sensitive than what I expected.

I would go easy on worm casting.
