I stopped by ACE Hardware and asked if they had pools still...

Manager dude says all stores get them 36 at a time and
they keep them in the back during off season.

So if you want to get your feet wet...

$13.00

But if you stack them...
Then like I did today, you get 3 for $13.00.. Shhhh...
Picked up a Styrofoam wall some pcv and other good stuff as well...

This makes 7 pools.
I will be having 3 pools this season...
2 flowering in a 4' x 8' tent
and one Vegging in a 4' x 4' tent...

With one extra pool that
I might make into a dome for a mass cloning pool...

May not even need the dome if my
Flooded pool clone test works out...

I never dome my clones or "harden" them off. Only time I lose em is if I mess up watering or transplant before i get good enough roots heh. I dont trim the tip of the leaves like I see alot of peeps do either.

The clones all look great and even the no soak seeds are looking good at 3 out of 4.

The seedling seemed to need a dome for the 1st couple days to get going good...

Running the pool at 2 minutes every 90 and the water flood to just under the over flow valve...

All but 1 of the 2 leafed plants placed survived and look great.
All the Burnt root/dampened plants did not make it...

Im soaking 10 more LTFB as I lost most to the learning curve so there will be 8 more pots added in the coming days as there are on 2 available now...

We may just need a spring Kiddie Pool contest so as to get some outdoor trees going all epic on us....

The 2nd of my 3 pools is all glued up and I'm adding the water and transferring the plants from pool 1 into pool 2 tomorrow...

I need to upgrade the frame for pool one,
Adding stoppers to keep the pool centered.

Im in the process of adding the final touches to pool 3.
A 1/2" feeding ring with 32 x 1/4" feed lines going to 32 available spots.

Im using 2 x 375 gph pumps on the ring.

But 1st....

Looks like I have another option for vegging in Kiddie pools.

This is a 32 line Pulsing PPK Kiddie pool...

This is simplicity at it's best IMO,that is...

There is a 1/2" tubing ring just below the rim of the pool.
32 x 1/4" lines feeding off the ring.
using 2 x 375 gph pumps...

So
a pool with holes.
A pool without holes.
A frame.
2 x pumps.
Plants.

Nice!!!





Very flexible as far as adding and moving things around.
Feed lines not in use simply go in a hole.
Lots of even pressure from every line.
Large plant on the outs and smalls in the middle.

400W MH Overhead

Could easily go SOG or 4-6 large Vert doughnut's
in large Air pots with 2-3 lines per pot.

Each pot has it's own turface filled wick...
Though,still a work in progress.
I think Im close to what im after between these 2 designs.

All and all things are coming together.

The color in these shots seem a little off...
The plants are nice and green...lol

The flood pools were a success and it
looks like they will take a seed to tree
all without ever moving a plant. Solid...
Not to mention...
Makes an easy cloner for larger cloned tops....
Not sure if its so good for little clones.
Im going to try one with a rockwool cube
in a TF filled flooded pot.
I like options....

Looking to move the Feed line pool to a new 4x4 tent I picked up.
This will be my Veg center after sexing the clones.
Going to toss the cloned cutting into it and flip them.
I will then pick the best 4 Females and place them in a
pool with 4"-5" of turface and veg
them 7-10 days,then a flower we will go...


Together... IMO...
These make a good pheno hunting set up
or
A nice puerperal multiple strain pre flower set up...
