Take the plunge. Do research to find REPUTABLE seedbanks and order something you rhink you would like. Because IC is sponsored by a seedbank, other seedbanks are not allowed to be mentioned on these forums but there are several good seedbanks around that ship to the states. If you are fairly new to growing, I would highly suggest getting some cheap seeds the first time. Maybe find some on the server fund.
If you are into sativas, I can highly recommend ordering directly from aceseed.org. Very good seeds, very quick shipping to Kentucky anyway and very friendly and helpful customer service.
A place with good and cheap f2s would be the seedbank named the same as a 90s Seattle rock band that was led by Kurt Cobain that blew his brains out. They have a bunch of stuff and its pretty good quality generally, just F2s that show alot of variability. Really good seed to pheno hunt thru. There are lots of other options too. Also a thread on here called "Economy seeds: The good, bad , and the ugly" I believe it was titled. Lots of great looking stuff in there for seeds. If you are not a newbie, still lots of gems to be found in those cheap seeds.

There's also slot of USA based seed banks now to that have a wide variety of seeds and deff some fire in them..most of those seed banks you can find on the gram as n insta ..I've ordered from most and they have great service..if you can't find them pm me and I'll give you more details on how bra linkup with em..

In the past clones placed outdoors have flowered too quick
Going to less light (24 to 16 then to14 hour day) causing low yielding small plants.
Anyone got ideas ?

soon as they germ put them out side in pots. no need to harden off or nothing. or you can take clones and run the light on 14 hrs on and should be able to go straight out doors with no problem after rooted

I agree. I'd veg em big inside and then stick em out in June to get em fat. We've been having some weird weather. It's been cold.

Either way, what's everyone style like? I live in more of a suburban area so my outdoor is super small and guerilla. Mostly indoors. I am starting to have access to land but it's about two hours away outside of bowling green.

Has anyone every set out a bunch of ladies and left em alone? I mean realistically, my outdoor potential plat is far enough away that I'd visit maybe four times this summer

Budman, I have tried the outdoor where I visited it 5 times during the season and it did not turn out good. The ones I was able to check on at least once a week were much better with more than double the yeild. I suppose with GREAT soil it would work but I personally wouldnt mess with any outdoor plants again if I couldnt check on them at least once a week. They are like tomatoes and generally have regular feeding requirements that just arent met with a few times a season.

Thanks for the advice flboy
Space is always tight this time
of year but waiting seems wise
It was a long wet spring and all those cloudy days last year may have contributed to early firing then back to veg it was a wasted effort.

Outdoors without any visits is the only safe way u/ less you own or know the owners. Country folk notice anyone odd and will steal or rat.Around my place the word is pay no attention to the dog but neighbors are heavily armed.

Road, I agree that no visits is definitely the safe way to go. However, no visits means not much feeding so its also likely to end up a disappointment. Best route for doing outdoor is to be able to visit often. Unfortunately that either means you own land or know someone that does and will let you grow.

Put a whole bag of happy frog in a hole cover with 10" topsoil to keep perlite from showing and say a prayer for good rains. Cast some tobacco to each direction to bless the site. Don't come again in the same car.

i know the family that owns the land. They have about 160 acres, but its sort of a sportsman paradise. A lot of people are allowed to fish and hunt there. I say alot, but its really friends of the family that have demonstrated great respect for the property. They damned up a creek and created a 40 acre lake. The run off area seems like a great place to throw a bunch of cuts in. really close to action. the lake is used heavily

Budman if you arent going to visit alot. Use a outdoor specific mix, if not going in native soil like black gold waterhold blend. Other suggestions, go in ground for sure no pots, mulch heavily, use moisture crystals, and long term dry nutes such as FF marine cuisine or similar. Even visiting once a month is better than never. And foliar spraying at those times can help a lot. The things in your stable will finish outdoor, but if you want it in for sure you may want to consider early varieties, some autos are top notch these days as well. The 14 hrs of light is a good idea for transition, but I have had some clones try to flower under that schedule, I like 16/8 myself.

The black gold is good stuff hadn't heard of that kind but will pass along to my outdoor clan.I find about a gallon and a half per month of grow works well with the happy frog and nothing else but water. Our soil is clay with rock so it's like a ten gallon submerged pot of soil. In t h e very wet years root rot is has been an issue.
What foliars do you suggest I've used kelp before but none of the high brix stuff
