I probably ran ppms a bit to LOW (600ppm) within days of upping to 800ppm buds started popping like corn. Now at 900 in 3 different hydro methods and under 2 different tents lights HOT5 & LED
V+B has proven very pH stable in all 3 hydro methods
3 TBS / 2.5G of < 20ppm RO= 870ppm @ 6.1 pH (RO is ~ 8.0 pH)
Hoping to get close to netprophet's dankness in 3 more weeks
Is it me or do the buds appear small, skinny or compact not sure the word I'm looking for and the plants seem branchy when using Veg+Bloom.
I'm not 100% sold on it yet, I got a test sample and a 1lbs container but went back to my Floranova regimen after 5 days. The plants started taking on that lanky spindly look that I see posted as great looking plants so often. I think I need to do a whole run from seed rather than swapping a week into 12/12 and on a crop I don’t depend upon for a yield in case it turns out a light grow.
I'm not keen on the end results I’ve seen posted so far,, the Frost is pretty but detracts you from noticing there's not much bulk to them.
My yields are solid bro. Dairy queen pulled in around 2 per 1000, can't complain. If your growing larfy strains that look big, that's all you. Here is some dank I pulled down with my first run with v+b. genetics and easy clean feed routine, make it happen, keep it simple
you obviously got skills dude and you have your grow dialled.. i doubt your nutes make a big difference though.. would be interested if you ran lucas or maxicrop or just an A+B two part..
I agree that photo you posted is one of the better end results I have seen and I've looked around at all the forums and at the guys using it or switching.
I grow out from seed to flower so genetics are a dice roll I stick with reputable seeds and products I’ve become familiar with. This strain started out pretty bushy and I think its legging do to stretch as dictated by genetics, but I got scared off and switched back to FNB and supp's,, gona see if after a week I like the looks.
The product sounds great and was great to use I would love to get comfortable with it.
Wish I knew more about nutes and how the 16-10-30 ratio works. I’m just so used to that N & P reversal associated with a bloom nute and have fears of a crappy yield.
The best weed I have smoked in my life was back in around 1979 or 1980 a guy grew it in his attic with a 1000 MH with an industrial warehouse reflector and some Peters 20-20-20 in potting soil and cut off soda bottles. Totally NO -Tech, Haha never been able to duplicate the shear mean of that shit.
What up Bonzo? Wrangling them in for the finale! Been at 1 EC Veg+Bloom and eye balled mollases for 1 week and just ran straight RO through em! The quality is blinging like diamonds in my eye. sour deezy OG funk fragrances fillin' my nostrils
Interesting. I'd have to point toward the strain for the potency then... there seems to be a bit of writing around that points toward high nitrogen through flower making for low thc at harvest time. Look into the lab results of the low-THC projects that have been around for a few decades.
Wonder what that strain would have produced with the correct nute profile.
I did a nice dollop of mollases in my rez for the last week of flower last run and ohhhhh yaaaaa little sap balls everywhere and smooootthhh everything I have grown with v+b is teeth numbing good but I feel like it's getting better!
