KC33 OUTDOORS BY BIOSYNTHESIS

Yes I feel this kc 33 would make some great hybrid plants. There seems to be no genetic information on geneology for it much.
Is it a "True F-1' by the definition or is it stabilized to f10 no info means I would just be pollen chuckin and I would like to create a true F-1 hybrid which seems to be rare in the cannabis seed industry. Maybe I am out of line, but if a breeder puts breeding wok into something they usualy explain this because they are proud of their old school breeding techniques. This is why I purchased ACE seeds this year. I think when they say it is an f1 and not just another polyhybrid, a simple result from outcrossing.

With that being said, I think 33 is a great plant to grow but it should be grown closer to 30th parallel. Its incredibly impervious to mold that's for sure. But I couldn't get it to perform well in flower here at 43 to do it again. Just not enough heat for her to fill out here well in October when she is realy supposed to be packing it on.

I will get a smoke report up eventualy for the 33. Just haven't smoked much yet.

Heres another showoff picture. This year I will show folks my methods I use to make monster cannabis plants. From buying and cracking seeds to hand mixing soil blend. Clear to harvest. Anyone can do it with minimal overhead with the methods I utilize.

Last year I grew 4 kc-33 regulars. I got an indica dominant pheno that finished early October and two sativa dominant females that look a lot like yours. I'm at about 42° N and my sativa dominant 33's never finished for me either. I had one male that was also sativa dominant I crossed with a dinafem blue widow at a different location. It was a accident, the blue widows just starting bloom so I killed the male before the bud was badly seeded but I still got quite a few and might try it this year.

Did any phenos of your kc-33 finish?

I got one of the Indica phenos you are talking about. got it in a pack of feminized. Couldn't keep it from flowering in early spring.
These 33's on the beach all came from original breeder packs in regular format.

Hey Appalachia outlaw- If you have warmer weather than we have here up till November the 33 may work for you. Do you know what your freezeout date is?

A few did but most did not get a proper finish. late flowering stretchy menthol smelling pheno could have used some more sunshine especially. This strain would yield huge further south.

Kc's been around a long time. I don't believe he ever released any true F1's, most were three or four way hybrids based on Brasilian sativa genetics and then stabilized to an extent. The specifics were/are somewhat of a mystery but his lines have always been known for being vigorous outdoors.

ACE seems to be where it's at for good breeding practices.

That crazy bastard KC has been busy lately, too!

Up until a few years ago he was seriously opposed to making any feminized seeds, and so it's nice to see those finally available on all his stock.

That being said, as soon as I settle in I'm getting some of his male seeds to use for breeding. He's got a lot of different genetics available, Brazil, Thai, New Zealand, South African and Spanish too if I remember correctly.

He's also recently introduced some new autoflowers with sound promising.

Duskray- Grew out the 33 feminized version as a tester before growing this patch and got a few male pods making some seeds. Lot of money was wasted as the distributors where not interested in getting any seeded buds to the markets. This was with no light poisoning or anything out of sync in the growroom. So I strongly suggest against the feminized stock. The regular seedstock used in this outdoor grow had over 80% female ratio though. Hope this is helpful.

Yeah, like I said he's fairly new to the feminized game.

I haven't had any problems with the feminized stock myself, but I'm not surprised that his feminized stock might not be as stable as that of others.

I apologize for sounding critical about KC seeds. Strain selection is important and I could have made better choice for my area. He really does have seeds that are reasonably priced with great genetics. Just wouldn't try this strain for my microclimate. Can only imagine how well this could be grown in southern locals.

This year I have Satori by Mandala seeds. Got 9 of 10 seeds to germ. They are knee high and look awesome. super vigorous. Really looking forward to the grow and getting beds prepared.

Also have several strains by ACE seeds. Disclose those later. But the Satori, Oh my, they just are so impressive. Nepalese if I am not mistaken.
