Well as it stands the plan is to mix 50L of native soil with each 107L bale of Promix HP. This is dependent on the soil test at the site of course.

Fuckin' hate growing in dirt...but I'm too stupid to design a working outdoor RDWC set up.

I tried hydro before. It's too big of a pain in the ass for the small amount I do.

I just like the idea that I never have to water my plants. And being able to leave them for a week at a time is a nice bonus aswell.

Agreed 5th...soil, if good quality, plenty of aeration from perlite....very forgiving and easy care. I don't like to have the plants be my master....or slave to my plants.

I'm always amazed after not seeing them in several days (going on a mini trip), just how much they've grown!

Btw...like the use of the milk carton for seedlings! ;o)

So in the span of about a month...I went from soil, in half liter containers to DWC. (had bugs in my soil)

...and here's where we are as of today.

I dunno what it is with spiders loving my grow box...probly all the other bugs they eat. Blinded this guy with the flash...then put him back in the box with the plants.

As you might have noticed, in the first and second pic, on the back left and right side are the two largest plants. One on the left is male, right is female.

Might cull the rest sometime this week. :tiphat:

The next time you got a slow grower stick her in the opposite pot, tall and deep to encourage the tap root down, much faster catch up can be expected!
