I just saw this swat raid on CNN. 77 rounds were fired into his foyer/hallway. He was hit 22 times. They kept EMS outside for 1hour/14 minutes before they could see him. Of course he was already dead. They are saying his safety was still on his rifle.

This God Damn country (USA) has gone mad!

firearms are inanimate...they do nothing on their own.

your hatred should be directed at those subhuman animals that are brandishing them.

what a sad thing that this family was destroyed, but to devine that the weapons used were responsible is lunacy.

Guns seem to do way more harm then good.... I see way more people being killed than being protected... Honestly is there any reason a gun should fire so many bullets at such a high velocity? When the Founding Fathers said the Right to Bare Arms....that was when people loaded muskets and it took 20 min to reload one shot...These gnarly guns today make people more inclined to go trigger happy....

Your thoughts are well intended, but please be clear about one thing:

Regardless of your position things are getting worse and more people are armed... including the bad guys from both sides of tracks.

Like in nature, if you are unarmed... you are easy target. Even walking with you shirt out protects you since the bad guys don't know for sure you ain't packing.

I will not be on my knees begging for my life... Nor if I go I'll go "alone".

Maybe its my military background, maybe I was brainwashed beyond any redemption.

But since human beings learned to use tools, the first thing was to get armed... to the teeth!

Be safe and lay low....

Sir I respect your opinion and am sorry for what you hav seen. But.Do we blame the club for Cain and Able. A Firearm is a tool. Yes a dangerous tool. In the hands of a Marine defending his family it is safe until a target is identified, it is a good thing. In the hands of a moron who disregaurds all commonsense safty rules it is a dangerously bad thing.

Please insert the word 'chainsaw' where I used firearm.

Armed invaiders from the government broke into this mans HOME. This is no more about the tools used than the underware the s.q.a.t team was wearin (thongs obviously).

Dunno bout you all, BUT I'VE always trusted my neck hairs(instinct). And them rascals been standing straight up for a couple years. Anyway IM BACK where I belonged, graduated high school & college here in Europe. Basically grew up in the Netherlands and Germany. I'll be ALOT more active on the board now that Im outta their. BTW: At least here, I can wake & bake, turn the tube on, or read the paper, AND KNOW THAT something AS despicable as above has not happened. Not saying theres no crime over here. BUT definitely NO ONE GETS MURDERED/Carjacked on a daily basis in my city.:jump:

This is unacceptable....I would like to know a country that is free of this type of wanton malice....Reading storys like these make me think evil thoughts....

But Im pushing past those thoughts and more on the lines of researching a new country to live in....

all officers involved should face the death penalty - that was pure murder - it became that as soon as the pigs lied.

And yet... it seems unlikely there will be much more action than a settlement to the family, and the same pigs will carry on as per usual.

This story is really sad. Like above mentioned, wouldnt it have been a lil easier to wait for him to come outside and snatch him up? This way his wife and children wouldn't be directly in harms way. Then they could search the premises while the house is empty. Too many cops want to be Rambo; especially when they get all psyched up for these raids...on the "wrong" houses! Do the cops/swat even look into the info that they are given, probably from crackheads swept off the streets, before smashing someones door down and firing 70 shots down the hallway??

If this were my house getting it's door knocked down...my safety would be off and those 70 rounds would be flying in the other direction! Fuckin pigs!
