Jointed's outdoor headstash

Time for some fresh pics! Even with your lack of light those plants should be chunking by now... going to be some excellent stash!

Hey all!

The garden is doing pretty good. I found out my buddy gave me a couple mislabeled clones, turns out two of the four bruce banners I have out are something different. Oh well lol, whatever they are they are doing great.

The cherry pies are really frosting up and stinkin' like crazy

Jammin to this tune' during this wet and cloudy day.

The girls are staked up and doing fine, im just letting them ride it out.

Will be harvesting one of the kush cleaner hybrids this week, and it will be turned into bubblehash right away. Its a small plant, probably just a few ounces. Her sister is amazing. Ill try and get some pics of her, but she might end up being my Emerald Cup entry..

Blessings :ying:

that's really cool how nice your buds look even without much sun, nice work!
I hope you hit your goal in yield and good luck in the cup. I really want to make it this year.

Thanks man. This is my first time working with Cherry Pie. I find the smell to be OG mixed with GDP. It is very strong smelling on the "brush up against". It is very OG funk, with a tiny bit of cherry, or some sort of fruit, on the bottom end of the aroma. Not much though.

Im not sure if I would run this plant commercially outside, there are some traits about it that i'm not a fan of. Nice for the head stash though.

Never depped her. She just has a bit to low calyx to leaf ratio for me. Maybe it was my light situation in this garden, I'll give her a second chance next year if I am at a sunnier spot. Im going over a couple contract offers, as well as waiting to hear about others, for next season and If i can run a nice sunny scene then I may have a few Cp's out to see what she can do for me in a garden with full sun all day.

Right now the garden is getting about 3 hours of direct light, the rest if on and off through the tree line. So pinner lol.

Yours looks just like mine. Not a huge yielder, but man the smoke is amazing.

I get about 7 hrs of direct sun and it's still kinda low on calx to leaf ratio. One thing great about the pie is it's mold resitant. The rain that hit us a few weeks back was pretty hard and lasted for a few days.

Zero mold issues.... commercially probly doesn't make sense. But i would think it gets a better price then most commercial strains. props to you jointed!

Nice.

I agree on the mold topic. The way CP, GSC and a few others develop calyx is unique. Im in the thought that the way the calyxs develop on her leads to less mold.

Thanks for the info about the aroma. Next year I want to do a Malawi project, was thinking of doing a lemon/pine Malawi, orange Malawi, and a cherry Malawi. Trying to find out which plant has the most cherry taste/ aroma.

Check out the UK cheese cut. Tastes like cherries to me. Seriously lol. Cherry Hemmingway, a rare old cut, she had some great cherry flavors.

Wow never heard that about UK cheese.
Cherry Hemingway sounds good. I will def be on the lookout, and most likely I will be testing/searching for certain flavors.
