Blaze can really produce under vertical lighting. It is extremely vigorous as you are displaying. Your doing a great job with them.

I lost my keeper blaze out of 2 packs and it is one I really mourn. She leaned towards the bb sativa and truly had a blissful high. Some of the nevilles phenos were extremely potent and spun me out, not really enjoyable. I still have 4 original packs + hundreds of f2's and crosses so I hope to find a replacement in the not too distant future.

All good stuff! Certainly one of the more worthy strains from the past. I've got a whole bunch just flipped, really looking forward to this grow.

When I saw how well my first JB grow was going, I ordered another packet. When I first smoked it I tried to get a few more packs but they were all gone...

I love these pics an the growing style,those nets are interesting way to run her ,i like that .

This strain intrigued me back wen i first came here , but after running NH an knowing the genetic backround on both strains i find this strain nowadays more soo to be a Gem .Glad she stills around

Yes mate! From 5 litre pots, crammed into a 1m² tent the two best yielders gave 75-82 grams. The two best plants (smoke-wise) were smaller yielders (~35 grams) but still OK. Since I am doing them again now, I will be able to confirm these numbers.

PS. I am also starting to plan a vert for the future Seems to be the way to go for these tall varieties!

Looks like my mom JB might not be so stable. I got a few nanners showing up here in the final weeks. Same for last round.

I got the one chopped and drying, with the other three soon to follow. I'll be sure to get some pics before I do. I've been crowding up the room with some new testers I'm going through looking for some new moms, and to get pics I got to take a bunch out which is a pain in the ass. That's why I haven't had many lately.

I have to be honest and say that I'm a little disappointed in the buds this time. They never really started to bulk up, and are all fox tails. I believe with all the stretch this time it was really too much area for my lights. I only run two 400's and most of the tops missed out on the sweet spot. Now don't get me wrong, I don't mind the fox tails and I know the smoke is going to be great, but you Know these youngins want to see rock hard buds for some reason they think this means better .Which I Know is bullshit.

Once that first one dries I'll see if I get any seeds off those few branches.
So, be back soon with some more info and pics.

Lucky i saved a clone of my male, not one seed in those two branches at all. So I might as well chuck the rest of that pollen I had froze.

I think I'm just going to throw together a separate small flowering chamber and do a low powered seed run with my male bustin pollen on a bunch of different clones I have. I'll keep it real small like party cups that should give me all kinds of sweet crosses.

Anyways, i still made out good with the bud. I ended up getting 103grams off that plant.

Here are a couple of very quick phonecam shots, just to give an idea.
I'll try get something better later.

These Johnny Blazes are just under a month into flower, so I imagine the quicker ones have at least another six weeks to go, the slower ones eight or more.

They seem quicker this time than they did from seed.

Just hopping on to this thread. I've been looking for more info on the Johnny Blaze since i've got some blueberry blast made with a JB dad. Your plants look fantastic Ganja Maker. I hope you get some viable seeds to work with. This strain really didn't get very much press, but sounds like a keeper.

Like gert said I guess we do have sort of a JB fan club going on in here. I'm glad all of you stopped in and liked what was shared by everyone. I hope we can keep this thread going now that there's a few of us with some blaze genes in our gardens. I won't have any running for a bit but I'm not done with it that's for sure.
