I live in an area where everyone with more than 5 acres gets an oil and gas lease check. Many laborers here are just waiting for deregulation to drill baby drill again. After the 2020 fiasco many wells were left undrilled or capped.

I love coal. Without coal my region would die. It’s bad enough that nafta sent all the steel jobs away from here.
I’m not narcissistic enough to believe I’m going to destroy or save the world.
I’m about to setup a boiler to heat my house with coal for $30 a ton. Hell with those prices I may try and run a steam turbine for power instead of solar panels.
