have only looked it a bit, but my instinct is to say this:
as a patriot, i'm a defender of the first amendment and will use what little power i have to fight against funding any religious schools. if i had my way, religions would pay taxes.
if charter schools are a way of shoving through religiosity, it is against the constitution.
but again, how come one of y'all won't make a taxation is theft thread or sum'm

I’m not even or religious at all. My grand kids all go to Christian school to avoid the woke. I guess teaching them not to cut off their junk because they’re confused kids is wrong in your book.
Bonus feature. They’re all great at math and reading.
education isn't a business or market so the term monopoly doesn't apply. there should be a universal standard SECULAR curriculum. countries like Finland abolished everything but public schools and they have the best ranked educated students in the world.

“Best educated” can mean a lot of things.
You can squeeze the top and bottom while bringing up the middle, or you can fast track the genius kids right past the average kids. While that’s the best way to get real difference makers it can lower averages for the kids the leave behind.
The goal of education is multifaceted. You want the top .01% or so to be taught in a way to maximize their innovation as professionals. The rest need to learn how to be productive workers.
If you’re actually smart, education is usually free.
