It was known as Sharpiegate.
The forecast for hurricane Dorian's cone of uncertainty didn't include Alabama... but Don the Con said that Alabama was going to get hit.
The Birmingham branch of the National Weather Service reiterated that they would not be affected.
An altered map shows black Sharpie ink was added to include Alabama. Trump "doesn't know" who did the alteration but was videotaped sitting right next to a Sharpie designed especially for him.
We all know what happened when he was challenged or doubted...
And I believe that we all know what happened during Sharpiegate.
The law states “whoever knowingly issues or publishes any counterfeit weather forecast or warning of weather conditions falsely representing such forecast or warning to have been issued or published by the Weather Bureau, United States Signal Service, or other branch of the Government service” shall be fined and/or imprisoned for up to 90 days....
And just like with most of the rest of his crimes, nothing happened to him.
